To be fair, a "government" study is more likely to come to a fallacious, but politically expedient, result than even wild speculation.

A government study is commissioned to provide proof of a supposition that is conducive to one party or politician, even where no proof exist.

The only studies that are capable of providing any semblance of accuracy is one where the persons conducting the study have no vested interest in the outcome.

To a legitimate scientist, a study that disproves a hypothesis is just as valuable as one that proves it.

Gas Stoves Bake better and Cook the food better than electric ranges and once a motherboard on a electric range goes out you might as well buy a new stove.

This argument doesn't exist. It is another fictional slight that has been made up by Republicans. What they are doing is to ensure that children's health is not compromised. Even the CPSC has said they do not have the authority to ban anything. What they are discussing are voluntary safety standards.
