did david gregory break the law on meet the press holding up that magazine

 OMG it's another rabid petition!

A petition on the White House's website calls for charges to be filed against David Gregory for breaking Washington, D.C.'s gun laws. "Press charges against David Gregory for possession of a 30-round, high capacity assault rifle magazine in Washington D.C," reads the title of the petition:

"We the people demand that he be formally charged! "

W.H. Petition: 'Press Charges Against David Gregory' for Breaking D.C. Gun Laws | The Weekly Standard

"did david gregory break the law on meet the press holding up that magazine?"

He likely hopes so. His stats are down, and notoriety brings a certain positive response to ratings.

Also, reporting an NRA item as dangerous will get him more WH interviews than OReilly gets.

Furthermore, it will become the DNC's primary First Amendment issue as "freedom of speech." They want to bury the Second Amendment anyway.

David Gregory lost that debate by a mile today. He was spotlighted on NBC news the night before. NBC really expect Gregory to mop the floor with the NRA. Total fail.

Not really. Lapierre looked like a giant asshole gun nut all over again.
What is this "gun nut" bull shit? You'd think that a true American would have respect for all rights given us by the constitution. Why is someone "nuts" to you liberals if they're lawfully within their constitutional rights?

WHY DO YOU LIBERALS HATE THE CONSTITUTION?

Yeah there's NUTS around here, but it sure fuck ISN'T the law abiding citizens observing the rights guaranteed by the constitution.

It's a smoke and mirrors gimmick, 007. The item was only used to report an opinion, not kill someone. The libbies can't grab away the Second Amendment, so they're doing the second best thing: using it for future campaign certainty that they support the First Amendment's clause of freedom of the press. It wouldn't surprise me if the issue didn't start in the WH spin room, as Mr. Gregory spits on the right so much, they knew he's the most polarizing figure.

Nothing is accidental in print anymore. I wouldn't fall for this bs leftist tactic to ensnare enemy NRA supporters for once and for all.

They were against gun laws before they were for gun laws because they were against hypocrisy before they were for it... Or something something... But please, enough with all the waste in Washington, huh? :eusa_clap:

Is anyone privy to news agency permits and laws surrounding such legal access for news purposes, or is this all just some crazy Christmas indigestion gone bad? IF an "investigation" finds that proper permission was not granted for this harmless incident, the end result would be a minor fine... And this sideshow does not change the gun control debate one iota.

Freedom of Speech does not give you carte blanche to posses illegal substances. If that was the case reporters could purchase, posses and use illegal narcotics and say they're doing it for story related research. Doesn't wash.

 I had to Google to see who David Gregory was, so I'm sure David Gregory thanks the NRA for this major popularity boost!

If it's a "harmless incident", then why bother having the law on the books?

No you are a moron. Lunatics are the problem, not the tool they choose to kill with.
How many kids would he have been able to kill had he had a musket instead?

Good question. Considering that the people in the Revolutionary War had muskets, and that the best riflemen were called "Minutemen" because they could fire, reload, fire again in less than a minute, well..............................it took about 5-10 min for the cops to respond.

In answer to your question, less than half the amount he killed with a semi automatic.
That is NOT who the Minutemen were or even WHY they were called Minutemen.

Read some history... Minutemen

Then it's not a "harmless incident".

LaPierre used facts and reason. Gregory looked like an out of control liberal.

Lapierre wouldn't agree once that guns just might be a part of the problem. He is a complete moron.

No you are a moron. Lunatics are the problem, not the tool they choose to kill with.

Stfu you idiot. The weapon they choose determines the "mass" in mass shootings. They kill more in a fairly hands off sort of way. You all are trying hard to find some sort of reason to keep these people killers on the gun show market but failing miserably.

Try again, cretin.

STFU moron. The real purpose for the "right to keep and bear arms" has got nothing to do with some fucked up, out of his mind, madman using one to do his dirty work, and you're pretending those other purposes don't exist.

YOU fail COMPLETELY, you anti American trash.

What part of most of these people have stolen the guns is giving you the most trouble? The fact they didn't buy them or the fact you can't really blame the weapon?

The largest mass killings are done by bombs universally.

There's absolutely no reason to think that it was a "real" magazine. TV props rarely are.

Should we investigate Law and Order too, in case those guns are real?

There's absolutely every reason to think it was a real magazine. Making a fake one might cost $10,000. Why make a fake when he could just buy a real one an eBay? Furthermore, it looked real enough.

Actually, all they would need to do to make a "prop" one would be to buy a real one, and deactivate it.

Holy shit you are stupid!

If Wayne La Pierre had waved around the same model of magazine on television, the Leftoids would be screaming to throw him in GITMO.

Gregory should be prosecuted for possession of a "high magazine clip" and investigated to determine if he also has the "thing that flips up on the shoulder".
