Did Trump really disrespect dead soldiers?

It's not on camera and he claims he didn't do it. He said some disrespectful stuff about McCain in the past, but they also had a personal beef due to McCain dissing Trump publicly. I have to admit it seems like a rather strange thing to say out loud even for Trump, and it's a little suspicious that it surfaced right before the election. I'm not saying he definitely did or didn't say it, but my bullshit alarm is definitely whirring on this one.
It all depends on who you listen to and what you want to believe those who hate Trump believe he did those who love him believe he didn't.

You know, there's no shortage of faults with Trump.

What eats libs alive is that Hillary was such a failed candidate that she lost, and Biden's such a failed candidate that he will lose, as well, despite Trump's faults.

It's got to kill libs that good Americans, when viewing the quality of their candidates versus the faults of Trump, good Americans chose Trump. Simply put, Hillary would've been far more disastrous...
Nah! After 3 years and 10 months. Look what happened to this country? We are in total mess and disarray because of an incompetent, amateur and inept president Trump. And you want 4 more years of chaos and discombobulations?

Any of the 2016 presidential candidates ANY could have done a far better than this lousy POTUS.

Well President Trump didn't say that and even General John Kelly who isn't a fan of President Trump said he didn't say that. :smoke:

Like I posted many many times in the past. I regularly deal with veterans and active military personnel.

I can honestly tells you that Trump favorable with the military is extremely very poor.

Rather he did or didn’t is irrelevant to a lot of people they believe what they want to believe.

And idiot libs like you want to blame Trump for the Kung Flu, something that, in all probablility, would've happened anyway. And then you want to blame him when democratic Governors fail to protect their cities when some guy gets killed by a rogue cop and the natives run amok.

Yeah, I do want four more years of Trump because, in those four years, Trump will crush the negro uprising in this country and restore law and order.

Biden has proven to me he has no interest in doing anything about it...

And he got out of the Navy and moved back in with his mom...

Don't forget this afternoon: Disparaging, masks, Four-stars, and defense contractors: Right there on the White House front porch!

No place do any of them have in the New Administration: With a White House backdrop!

Did Trump really disrespect dead soldiers?

My opinion is that he probably said it and that it won't make a difference anyway.

We don't have proof of it, but it seems like something he would say. I thought his comments on McCain were absolutely terrible, including the low blows after he died. Add to that his comments to recently passed John Dingell's widow "maybe he's looking up", and I can conclude why there's very little decency in this president. There's close to nothing that I can rule out for him.

And even if he did say it, it wouldn't make a difference. Take all the conservatives on this site for example. Suppose that tomorrow we got a video of Trump saying exactly what he was accused of saying. Would that change ANY of their minds about who they're voting for? I don't think it would. As Trump said, he could shoot someone on 5th avenue and he wouldn't lose any voters. He was right.

My $0.02.

how would he know who to blame?

Maybe he suspects that person of spreading a lot of bullshit. The connection you're trying to make doesn't make sense.
Why are you so surprised? Trump has said a lot of stupid things that is enough to sink an aircraft carrier.
He believed that the Coronavirus is all a lie, death and infections are all lies created by media and democrats.
He tweeted last week that only 9,000 deaths of Coronavirus here in US....
He tweeted LIBERATE LIBERATE... meaning inciting violence against his own Americans.

Now you tell me he didn’t say those despicable words.

Yeah...nothing you just posted is true or accurate......

It's not just McCain. (by the way, the McCain stuff WOULD be bad enough on it's own)

It's what he's said about various flag officers, even ones who have been on his own cabinet.
It's what he's said about his brother Fred who joined the Air National Guard.
It was his callousness when talking to the widow of Sgt. LaDavid Johnson ("He knew what he signed up for". Johnson's wife was in tears.)

The fact was, he DIDN'T go to the ceremony at Belleau Wood.

Trump's long history has been one of disrespecting people who intimidate him, who he feels threatened by. The guy is by any definition just an awful person.

He's a guy who reacts to 180,000 Covid deaths with "It is what it is!" He simply lacks the basic human empathy most decent people have.

It's not enough that you just think it seems like something Trump would say. It's an allegation, and a suspicious one right before an election. If Trump really said that it would be a whole new level of disrespect. It seems strange. It's hard to imagine he'd say that out loud even if he does believe it.

Sorry but it is hard to find a news cycle where Trump doesn't do something to outrageous... Look at the summer...
  • No responsibility for COVID response
  • COVID Press conferences
  • Injecting Bleach and other COVID misinformation
  • Senate report of Trump campaign giving information to Russians
  • Mike Flynn U-Turn so bad the Judge had to question it.
  • Tax return court failure
  • Rodge Stone commuted sentence
  • Clearing of the Square for Bible photo op
  • Defunding the US Postal
  • Niece accusations and taped conversations
  • and that are the ones I can think off....

Next week
  • Micheal Cohen Book
  • Bob Woodward Book
  • And what ever comes out of Trump's mouth/Tweets
so suspicious about timing, hardly, this is just another day in the Trump White House...

The bleach lie...besides all the other crap you posted...it was Jon Karl, an ABC reporter who asked about the bleach, not Trump...but thanks for lying....

You really mean there isn’t a day that goes by where libs, and never trumpets don’t loose their minds with made up nonsense....right?

When I was in the military we were expected to be loyal to and respectful of the president no matter what their name is. Such is the duty of a soldier.

The report, not the statements.

Should go both ways. It seems it doesn’t. Trump is impervious to any criticism, but he isn’t impervious to discoing it out. Even our soldiers aren’t immune to his saying their deaths were due to their own incompetence. What a commander in Chief.

Draft dodger of bad feet has always disrespected those Americans who serve the nation. He can only steal from it. That is obvious to all except his 'cult following'. Cults are un-American too.

See here: This week in Trump World

"What is patriotism? Let us begin with what patriotism is not. It is not patriotic to dodge the draft and to mock war heroes and their families. It is not patriotic to discriminate against active-duty members of the armed forces in one's companies, or to campaign to keep disabled veterans away from one's property. It is not patriotic to compare one's search for sexual partners in New York with the military service in Vietnam that one has dodged. It is not patriotic to avoid paying taxes, especially when American working families do pay. It is not patriotic to ask those working, taxpaying American families to finance one's own presidential campaign, and then to spend their contributions in one's own companies. It is not patriotic to admire foreign dictators. It is not patriotic to cultivate a relationship with Muammar Gaddafi; or to say that Bashar al-Assad and Vladimir Putin are superior leaders. It is not patriotic to call upon Russia to intervene in an American presidential election. It is not patriotic to cite Russian propaganda at rallies." Timothy Snyder 'On Tyranny'

Are you talking about those presently in service or retired ? Cause if you’re in the service you have the UCMJ to worry about which restricts your behavior.

More bullshit from the left.

Trump has respect for the military and always has had that respect.

Anyone who thinks he would disrespect dead soldiers is dumber than a box of rocks.
