That is why they use tribalism the way they do. Look at how many ways we are divided like race, political parties, gender, economic hell even along state lines. The "gotcha" stuff is annoying and a problem, but it pales in comparison to (a) the rampant intellectual dishonesty that pollutes political rhetoric and (b) the higher priority placed on short term political "victories" for one "side" over actual progress, healing and improvement.
