Of course he is a genius to play that card. He (and his administration) saw an opportunity to get a massive group (African Americans) to continue their support of his administration.

He played this situation perfectly.

Well damn....things here escilated fast....isnt it awesome how easy it is to push your agenda when all that you have to do as president is JUMP BEHIND THE MASSES AND LEAD THEM.

This didnt turn into a race issue when Obama spoke. It turned into a race issue because thats what the masses wanted it to be....and then when our leaders saw this happening, they decided to lead the masses. How easy is it to get support?

Its as easy as saying, "Im the president and I am black. My life was hard too."

How wise and progressive our society is.
