Does Sanders believe in private property rights?

Has anyone asked him directly?

Actually, no he does not...

Housing for All

He want National Rent Control...

With caveats (waivers)...and we all know that what he wants and what he actually gets may turn out to be two different things. Given in my own hometown they are building almost 300 new apartments over three different sites and the rent for a 1 bedroom starts out at about $2000/month, I'm kinda sympathetic..because I know that if my wife and I were starting out at the beginning, there'd be almost no way to afford this rent amount without 2-4 jobs between us. And a line in his "want" site here specifically states that states and cities (not the government) will be allowed to pass even stronger measures if they wish. I thought that's what the "Follow the Constitution" crowd would get behind.

Trump Justice Department sues to seize private property for border-wall construction

Three years into Donald Trump’s presidency, the U.S. government is ramping up its efforts to seize private land in Texas to build a border wall.

Seize with compensation......not what Sanders wants to do, eh?

still seizing...

Yup, in the Constitution.

rw's are so f'n stupid -

SSDD

They need some of those groovy Commie literacy programs, eh comrade?

PRETEND YOURE NOT A MORON AND ACTUALLY KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A COMMUNIST AND SOCIALIST.

Socialist.....loser who wants to take all your money.
Communist.....loser who wants to take all your money and throw you in a re-education camp.

Buzzwords....those words thrown out by the right wing and alt-right trying to attribute them to anyone that doesn't believe as they do...while not understanding the definition of any of them.

Bernie wants to double the size of the Federal Government and has no idea how he is going to pay for it.

Meanwhile, disingenuous cword lefties complain that Trump signed a Dimm budget that increased the debt.

Liberal pretzel logic.

This is a Constitutionally based taking of private property....Eminent Domain, and they aren't taking all the property just enough to build the wall for National Security purposes....big difference.

It is always different when your side does it.

No, actually, it isn't......as we have shown....using Eminent Domain for an actual National Security issue is completely different from using the tax code to confiscate privately created wealth.....to hand out for their own power and benefit...

Eminent Domain is wrong no matter who does it for what reason.
