Donald Trump: A Study in Leadership

Fairly devastating comparisons with other world leaders:

*snip*

Even now, even in the worst public-health crisis in a century, he divides people instead of unifying them, creating precisely the kind of distrust that makes the disease harder to defeat. He cannot demonstrate empathy, because he is incapable of feeling any. He cannot demonstrate solidarity, because he has only disdain for his fellow citizens.

Americans, as a rule, rarely compare themselves with other countries, so convinced are we that our system is superior, that our politicians are better, that our democracy is the fairest and most robust in the world. But watch this video and ask yourself: Is this the kind of leadership you expect from a superpower? Does this make you feel confident in our future? Or is this man a warning signal, a blinking red light, a screaming siren telling all of us, and all of the world, that something about our political system has gone profoundly awry?

Trump is not a leader

Leaders are trusted by their followers. Trump is not

As bad as I thought GWBush was, I never feared he would actively try to make a pandemic worse, as Trump has.

When you look at all of Trump’s actions and deliberate inactions (like Defense Production Act) you see that they line up completely with what Vladimir Putin would have him do.

All roads lead to Putin.

Fairly devastating comparisons with other world leaders:
Sure. The bottom line is that he is indeed a warning sign and a symptom. We all probably assumed that we had learned from history not to elect people like this, but obviously we had not.

So hopefully this will be a learning experience for us, as it has been for other countries. We'll get past this, as the other countries have.
We learned from history not to vote for people like Hillary Clinton. That's why we have Trump.

Well, I hope so. Although Russia never got past it. They went from one type of dictator to another, with just a 6 year period in between when a drunk guy was kind of in charge.

The one thing that gives me hope is that they are all so stupid, inept, and incompetent. Their extreme narcissism and paranoia keeps smart people out of the decision-making process when it comes to corrupting the law and our government, thankfully. It’s just Mango Mussolini, Kushner (a moron), Barr (devious, but careless), Meadows (evil wannabe), and of course his three stupid children.
Brash, bold, pugilistic, nationalist leaders, enabled by millions in the grasp of a group pathology, who only end up causing their countries great damage. They're not difficult to identify from history.

I wouldn't put Putin in that group. He's very low-key, works behind the scenes. He knows not to be a flamboyant buffoon, like you know who.
Black fag Jesus?
The cigarette isn’t black, moron.

Yeah, but you are a faggot.

And this is for you:

Hey, those look like "enhancers" for your nose. Why so glum? Answer the question Why do you think Donald John Trump is a leader? Not because of a bag of....candy..
He's closer to a dictator...which I'm surprised to say, why do you right wingers who believe in liberty and freedom, wish to live under the rule of...well...Trump?

Because it's better than anything a fucktard like you would come up with.

C'mon, you can do better than that. You're an ardent Trump supporter.
Tell me (and the class). Why do you think this man shows leadership? What has this man done that justifies your ardent love and devotion of him?

Free Kool-Aid?

I've went all ass!

Funny thing, I'm an old Trump voter and I consider myself fairly well off. Likely much more well off than pukes like you anyway. Let's just say I want for nothing. Well it would be nice if your kind of asshole disappeared from the earth but as they say, we can't have everything.

Content-free trolling that I’m POSITIVE will be deleted, because, you know, that’s....not....tolerated around here...

Thank you for the video. The video just confirms what we always knew: Trump is in over his head and deeply unstable.

You are not looking at the totality of the job requirements to be a good GOP president of the US.
1. You need to be able to ignore the 95% negative press all day every day from the MSM including many "fake news" reports.
2. You need to be able to survive attacks by the FBI, CIA, DOJ, including falsifying evidence, perjury traps, illegal FISA warrants, and other attacks and "leaks" by the "deep state".
3. You need to defeat an unjustified "non-crime" impeachment attempt by the democrats
4. You need to be able to keep your campaign promises to voters in spite of opposition party interference
5. You need to "counter-punch" effectively when attacked, to stop attacks.

The other countries you put up in the OP are roughly the size of US states in population and economy. The US is a much more complex task to manage.
You could compare Trump to US governors, like Andrew Cuomo, NY.
Trump is bringing good jobs back to the US, which more than a democrat president would do, just look at the new $12b semiconductor plant in AZ.

Did you ever see Barack Obama have to "counter-punch" over 8 years? No. The worst I ever saw was his vent of frustration at Fox News (which wasn't really a punch but more exasperation). Trump makes all of his bad press. You can sit here and blame it on "MSM" but the bottom line is that Obama never made his own sink holes. Impeachment came as a result of Trump's inability to rise above his worst instincts. If he doesn't demand an Omerta oath from James Comey, most likely, the whole Russian interference ends in a strongly worded report about protocol or procedure (you know, like the FISA warrants). So maybe, the whole Ukraine thing doesn't happen....facepalm. He hasn't kept any campaign promises. Only in the minds of his ginned up base. Before the pandemic, he was just an amusement. A guy who didn't want to be President but always wanted to campaign for it. Now, he's a guy that not only hasn't delivered on anything he promised, he's gotten a lot of people killed by his inaction, ineptness, incompetence, and indifference.

1. Trump's promises kept. Lots to read Promises Kept | President Donald J. Trump's Accomplishments
2. Obama was treated respectfully by the Republicans.
3. Impeachment was a partisan act, GOP's legal scholar suggests Democrats are abusing power with rushed impeachment
4. Comey, McCabe, Strzok, Page and the rest plotted the soft coup against Trump, their "insurance policy" in case he won. Barr and Durham should have more than a few indictments coming out soon. Even the IG said that the FISA warrants signed by Comey were a hot mess. Comey also perjury trapped General Flynn. Comey is a dirty cop.
5. Trump's travel ban from China saved lives when the democrats called him "xenophobic & racist". Democrats are a PC disaster waiting to happen.

1) Ugh..none of these are "accomplishments"..except by Trump campaign org....
2) Wha, wha, what????...Do you remember...LIAR!!..shouted out by some a-hole Republican...tell me, what Republican president ever had to sit through that?..Answer...none.
3) Huh?...Trump love. Trying to leverage a foreign government to dig up dirt on his chief political opponent? Yep..impeach...and do not collect $200.
4) "Procedure" all that was dredged up against the FISA warrants IG investigation. Not the actual reason for issuing them.
5) His "ban" was just a restriction. 40K people flocking home in crowded airports..No one called him a racist. Xenophobe thrown around because of his penchant for trying to find a scapegoat..but some on the left said this.

Honestly, why do you think this man deserves your loyalty? When there are better, more authentic examples of conservatism in the Republican party?...which is in serious jeopardy of going the way of the dinosaur this November??

They have STILL never asked him about his abuses of power, criminal behavior and constant hate mongering.

If they did their alleged job and covered Obamagate..ratings through the roof for 2 years.

They aren't even profit-driven. They are a propaganda arm of the globalists.

Sorry, the Media asked Trump what crime Obama should be investigated under and Trump refused to give one.

That is as high profile as it gets... It is a simple and fair question.

That is covering it...

1. I'll re-list a few accomplishments for you to appreciate
-Obama let ISIS grow out of control. In 2015 ISIS was at the peak of its territory. It took Trump a few months to crush the caliphate. That's an accomplishment.
-Obama said that "manufacturing jobs are not coming back, Trump is bringing them back, the $12b chip plant in AZ and 12,000 new manufacturing jobs are a big accomplishment
-Obama gave Iran $150b in sanctions relief and $1.7b in cash via plane. Trump killed the top terrorist and told Iran no nukes, period. That's an accomplishment.
-Obama didn't stop illegals from entering, basic "catch & release". Trump built a wall, and Mexico is helping keep migrants out.
-Obama allowed unfair trade agreements, Trump renegotiated fair trade agreements
-Obama let the military deteriorate, Trump basically rebuilt the US military
-Obama stopped all pipeline construction, Trump built those pipelines
-Obama allowed 70,000 opioid deaths a year, always increasing, Trump reduced the number of opioid deaths.

2. Obama lied and someone called him out, a well deserved one-off, Nancy tore up Trump's state of the union speech on live TV, not to mention the unjustified impeachment attempt, and her daily insults. There is no comparison between the TLC Obama got and the daily insults Trump gets, and gives back.

3. There was no "digging up dirt" like the fictional "Steele Dossier" written by Russians, if that's your collusion standard? If you saw the Biden video, he threatened to withhold US aid if the Ukrainian prosecutor was not fired, the one investigating his son's cash cow, Burisma. That is extortion. There was no case for impeachment, period.

4. Falsifying evidence is not "procedural", not verifying what you swear "is verified" is not procedural. Barr and Durham will prove how wrong you are with the indictments.

5. Trump was attacked for stopping flights from China, and making returnees quarantine. The dems would have made the pandemic even worse by not restricting travel.
