I am currently dealing with a multi million dollar property that claimed to have 6,000 sq ft of Mahogany floor. Turns out to be a well engineered composite. This is commonly practiced by large real estate holding companies. NY state and NY city are particularly active in that regard. Trump, like every other billionaire property holder has probably been doing it for decades. He is wrong to do it but it is ludicrous that NY state would make a singular issue of it. It is also foolish to think that NY state will suddenly crack down on this practice.
