Joe Biden told a concerned activist in New Hampshire Friday that he guarantees that “we are going to end fossil fuel.”

The February acceleration was the fastest pace since January 1982, back when the U.S. economy confronted the twin threat of higher inflation and reduced economic growth.

The CEOs admit this and their financial statements are proof of this. Companies are using inflation as a excuse to raise prices. Oil companies are withholding oil from the market to keep prices high. Consumers are getting screwed by big business as they are making record profits.

In fact it's a communist take over of America, and we all slept through the creation of it long ago. Now we must do whatever we need to to restore America back to it's founding principles. God and Constitution FIRST.Bay. With half a brain sees that Biden and the Democrats are a danger to the economy.
He'll, they admit, they state that they are createing a new type of economy that is unlike anything tried before.
Everything must be destroyed and rebuilt, to the democrats utopian vision of the future even if it destroys our lives and the life's of our children.

I guess you haven't read anything I've ever posted. The facts are though, pump trillions and prices are going to go up. I suppose people should be happy that the government looks after the extremely rich though eh?
The fact is that companies are raising prices because they can get away with it. Most industries in this country are oligopolies which means there is little or no competition. That apparently does not bother you.
Print up another trillion and dump into the economy then, no affect upon inflation!This is not the end. Your charts show you are lying. M1 is relatively flat to a point. Yet the inflation chart is clearly higher. The arc of inflation is hardly changed even though M1 shows a dramatic increase. That suggests M1's jump had nothing to do with it. Also worth noting that income inequality grew during the pandemic. Also the Fed pumped far more money into businesses than consumers.
There is another reason that inflation can occur. When a company has pricing power, they can raise prices because they want to not because they have to. CEOs have confirmed that they do and the fact that they are making record profits shows this is true.
