Ah... better to avoid the question than to acknowledge the fatal flaw in applauding the fact that the vote of a large majority was squashed by 5 power hungry frauds on the far fringe of society.

Isn't this in a sense the flip side of Citizens United? Those supporting DOMA are unhappy the scotus overturned leglisation properly enacted by their legislators which they support, and for which those who didn't like the legislation opted to challange leagally after losing politically. The distinction being Citizens United involved the rights of corporations while Windsor involved persoal liberty.

Reason for SCOTUS and legal system...look it up!

SCOTUS exists to determine the constitutionality of laws passed by the feds and states and rulings made by lower courts.

the problem is that SCOTUS is politically driven and each justice has a political agenda. They are not unbiased as they should be.
