Eco Coal!! Mining industry sees first profitable quarter in many years!!

One word........... :spinner::spinner: WINNING :spinner::spinner:

And to think.........for the last several years, every single AGW k00k in here said coal was "dead" in America. LOL.....and this weekend, Pennsylvania opened the first new coal mine in America in about 10 years......the people of the community overjoyed.:clap2:

U.S. Mining Industry Sees First Profitable Quarter in 2 Years

Ummm..........who's not winning?

Great. Another soulless multi million dollar company made a profit. Were more than just the bare minimum of jobs created?
There's always a black cloud in the silver lining isn't there?

Coal
Black cloud

Coal
Black cloud

How terribly witty.

But the real question is, where's the silver lining? Seriously, why is the right so against doing something good for the country?

Skook is so desperate, he's just declared that "mining" means "mining coal".

In the Skook-kook world, nothing else in the universe is mined except coal.

In the world of Skooks, its all about winning!! All winning all the time.

People with reasoned judgment get it......offuckingcourse it is awesome when this industry becomes profitable because it means people can make a living. But to progressives, its "FUCK YOU!!" to those people if it doesn't conform with the agenda. Well.......the AGW climate crusaders are taking bumpy cucumbers all the time in recent years but especially since Trump came in and is smashing the shit out of the Obama legacy on climate.
A hand full of people. Big deal. We made sure multimillionaires are able to make even more with the most polluting energy we have and a couple dozen real people got jobs.

There are now 6000 fewer coal mining jobs in the USA than there were a year ago.

There are currently more yoga instructors in the USA than coal miners. Skook is losing to yoga teachers.

A few more highlights:

  • One out of every 50 new U.S. jobs was in the solar industry.
  • Solar industry employment growth outpaced that of the overall U.S. economy by 17 times as it increased by over 51,000 jobs, for a total of 260,077 U.S. solar workers.
  • The number of solar jobs increased in 44 of the 50 states in 2016.
  • Women represent a greater proportion of the solar workforce than in previous years, rising from 18.7% in 2013 to 28% in 2016.
  • California employs the most solar workers, followed by Massachusetts, Texas, Nevada, and Florida.
U.S. Solar Jobs Jumped Almost 25% In the Past Year

The U.S. now has about 51,000 coal mining jobs, a far cry from the 89,400 positions counted by the Bureau of Labor Statistics at the end of 2011.

Another way to think of it: coal mining employs less than half as many people as struggling JCPenney (JCP), which listed 106,000 workers as of late January.

400 coal mining jobs created in May

Solar created as many jobs in a single year as exist in mining coal today. And as renewables continue to decline in price, and grid scale storage comes online, there will be more jobs in coal that disappear.

Hmmm.........but lets put this spectacular looking stat into perspective in the bigger picture, shall we?

Nobody is impressed with a chick who gets a boob job that goes from flat chested to an A-Cup!:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Solar STILL...with all these astronomical growth figures........only provides a little more than 1% of American electricity!!:oops-28:

But winning decisively in this forum!!:spinner:

Every climate crusader in this forum supports a carbon tax and spending billions of dollars of Americans hard earned money to reduce CO2.

How fucking stoopid is that?:dunno:

As stoopid as it gets in the real world!:deal:

Why?

Because these complete bozo's think you can reduce CO2 to control the climate while China is building 2-3 new coal plants EVERY FUCKING MONTH!! Compared to now, in 2050, China will increase coal production by 50%!!( will post up about 20 links on this by request:bye1::bye1:)

Now.............that's as stoopid as it gets s0ns!!

Many, many progressives on this messageboard have no real responsibilities in life but lecture everybody else. Comical.........find that a lot with people who support the DUMS. They never care about the "costs" of any of their Disney thinking.

And check out some of their post counts..........a dickhead like BULLDOG has already surpassed me in less than 3 years.:eek-52: That's mental case OCD stuff........and almost invariably, the posts are laced with prolific levels of misery. Ghey...............:gay:

Trump's efforts on behalf of the coal industry was sold as a way to create lots of jobs. He's not creating many jobs

Unleash the energy of ALL types. If done so in a manner that is environmentally friendly and responsible, even better.
Whoever Controls Language Controls Thought. You've Been Had

Don't be so sure of that. Up to a certain level, "pollution" is antiseptic. It should be called by a neutral term, such as "byproducts." Squeaky-clean natural air is the most toxic of all, and industrial byproducts kill the deadly bacteria and viruses long before reaching a level where we are endangered at all.

The ignorant and superstitious enemies of economic progress shouldn't be met halfway by accepting their lie that "pollution" is never beneficial and that it is always helpful to get rid of any impurities in the air.

Have you considered that maybe, just maybe, when such companies in a once hurting industry see that they can see an increase in profits that they will justify hiring more American workers and expanding?

Something to consider.

Leftist snobs don't care about Labor. All they want to do is take over or boss around management. This is the Young Lords of the aristocracy challenging their CEO fathers. In the controlled politics of these decadent times, the 99% are left out of the picture.
