They were getting compensation packages in the hundreds of thousands (literally rivaling that of executives) - just to sweep a fuck'n floor. That is unsustainable.

Instead of flourishing, GM was on the verge of bankruptcy (was bailed out illegally by Uncle Sam), and is now on the verge of bankruptcy once again.
