"Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-Massachusetts) took a jab at pro-legalization Republican State Representative Dan Winslow (R-Norfolk), who is currently vying for the Republican nomination for Senate in Massachusetts's upcoming special election.

Addressing the crowd, Senator Warren said, "I advise everyone to pay very close attention to Dan Winslow's platform. He has a 100 percent ranking from the gun lobby and he's for the legalization of marijuana. He wants us armed and stoned."

Republicans are the ones with the hemp-legalization bill (Mitch McConnel/Rand Paul). The Democrat leader has raided 5 times as many medical marijuana dispensaries as Bush. CPAC 2013 cheered when Rand Paul said to decriminalize drugs. Now Elizabeth Warren wants GOP to be tougher on pot?

The drug debate has supporters for legalization on both sides for many reasons. Just the same, both sides have a lot of people against legalization of even marijuana.

One SUREFIRE way to get nutters to support legalizing pot is for a few prominent liberals to speak out against the idea.

But if one but LOOKS at the arrest record wheere DEMS are in charge, what we typically find is that the DEMS are as hard assed about pot as the Rs.

It's not really about pot, its about whether or not the government has the right to control our bodies.

Most Americans think they ought NOT to have that right even if they do not take drugs.

Note how most POLS (regardless of party) think we do not have that right?

Absolutely NOT. And the resord of arrests made under democracctic administrations supports that POV, too.

The DEMS are just another branch of the POWER AND CONTROL party and their drug war is a BIG BIG BIG part of that system of oppression.
