Rather have a muslim than a shit smear bible thumping christer ,that would set you old crackers into shit fits, foaming at the mouth crapping your depends
Almost anyone would be better than John Mitchell...the worst AG ever.
Depends both corrupt in different ways...call it a tie.

Maybe this really is to get the spotlight of Holder for actual legal ramifications were coming down the pike. What ever happened to the Contempt Charge?

Apparently Holder is looking onto running for Veep in 20 16 with another disgraced Dem:

Weiner/Holder 2016!

I can't help but think that Obama wouldn't let him go unless it was politically expedient especially before November elections. Something was in the works that was going to be dead weight at least or derogatory for the Democrats.

Someone mentioned no indictment in Ferguson...could be. Or something in the past is going to raise it's ugly head. Something's up.

I'm watching the CNN coverage of this out of morbid curiosity. One of their lefty talking heads opined that this would be an excellent opportunity to nominate another black or a woman or a Latino.

It would also be an excellent opportunity to nominate someone based on their experience, merit, integrity and devotion to the constitution.

Not holding my breath for that to happen.

He's going to bring in a relative voice of reason. This is where the baton passing to 2016 begins, and Holder will be employed by MESSNBC to continue to foment hatred against whites. Count on it.

Eric Holder To Step Down As Attorney General The Two-Way NPR

Eric Holder Jr., the nation's first black U.S. attorney general, is preparing to announce his resignation Thursday after a tumultuous tenure marked by civil rights advances, national security threats, reforms to the criminal justice system and five and a half years of fights with Republicans in Congress.

Two sources familiar with the decision tell NPR that Holder, 63, intends to leave the Justice Department as soon as his successor is confirmed, a process that could run through 2014 and even into next year. A former U.S. government official says Holder has been increasingly "adamant" about his desire to leave soon for fear he otherwise could be locked in to stay for much of the rest of President Obama's second term....

Makes you wonder why?
because people tend to have short shelf lives in these type of seats. This is nothing new.

It would be nice to have an AG who did his job concerning the rampant financial crime in the USA, but the Republicans will make sure no new AG gets confirmed unless he or she promises to kiss the heinies of Wall Street with even more gusto than Holder.
