Euthanasia

I'm happy that PoliticalChic is considering the topic.

What a stupid post.

You should have someone read and explain posts to you.

Hard to believe it went over your head.

Hey......I typed 'moron' into my GPS, and guess what? I'm at your front door.

So, some governments endorse euthanasia.......

Where is morality, or ethics in this brave new world?

6. Seems that there is a new definition of morality.....one in which the new god, Liberal government, hands down its commandments, and those do not sanctify human life.
Does the term 'good' apply to such government?
See what's missing?

"Perhaps," Richard Dawkins speculates, "I... am a Pollyanna to believe that people would remain good when unobserved and unpoliced by God." Why should people remain good when unobserved and unpoliced by God

Why, then, the need for criminal law?

a. As the philosopher Simon Blackburn puts it in his 'Ruling Passions,' “the problem is one of finding room for ethics, or of placing ethics within the disenchanted, non-ethical order which we inhabit, and of which we are a part.”… "The task before us is to try to squeeze morality into the “disenchanted” natural world; as Blackburn says, this “is above all to refuse appeal to a supernatural order.”
John Piippo Naturalistic Ethics Boiling Babies for Fun

"...is above all to refuse appeal to a supernatural order.” He means God.

Do we find ethics, or morality in nature?

Or, for that matter in science.... as scientific theories have nothing to say about God, then they say nothing about right or wrong, about good or evil.

7. Princeton philosopher Richard Rorty noted the change in authorship of morality: “The West has cobbled together, in the course of the last two hundred years, a specifically secularist moral tradition — one that regards the free consensus of the citizens of a democratic society, rather then the Divine Will, as the source of moral imperatives.”
Last Words from Richard Rorty The Progressive

While Rorty considered this a great advance, consider how this fits the actions of Nazi Germany, certainly in tune with its free consensus.

Don't need a god to have morals and ethics. Secular humanism does just fine absent God while remaining very moral and ethical.

What is morality without God?

Answer: It is whatever YOU think it is.

What is morality with God?

Answer: It is whatever YOU think it is with someone else to blame it on.

Let's pretend that you actually have the ability to form a considered opinion based on the thread to which you've- seemingly- responded.

Do you imagine that believers would endorse euthanasia?

1. "Early socialists publically advocated genocide, in the 19th and 20th centuries. It first appeared in Marx's journal, Rheinishe Zeitung, in January of 1849. When the socialist class war happens, there will be primitive societies in Europe, two stages behind- not even capitalist yet- the Basques, the Bretons, the Scottish Highlanders, the Serbs, and others he calls 'racial trash,' and they will have to be destroyed because, being two stages behind in the class struggle, it will be impossible to bring them up to being revolutionary."
George Watson, Historian, Cambridge University.

a. "The classes and races, too weak to master the new conditions of life, must give way...they must perish in the revolutionary holocaust."
Karl Marx, People's Paper, April 16, 1856, Journal of the History of Idea, 1981

b. "Before Marx, no other European thinker publically advocated racial extermination. He was the first."
George Watson.

2. Did I miss any, or have none of the Liberals on the board tried to justify genocide, gulags, abortions, death panels, or euthanasia?

Whether it be genocide, gulags, abortions, death panels, inseparable from Leftist doctrine...communism, Liberalism, whatever....all represent how insignificant human life is to Leftist worldviews.

They laughed when the Right pointed out that ObamaCare included rationing and Death Panels...but last week the architect of ObamaCare, Dr.Zeke Emanuel came out an said that at 75, time to die.

" If Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel doesn’t die by age 75, should he get the Death Panel?"
Ezekiel Emanuel Obamacare people should die at age 75

And the facilitation for that view is that none of Leftist iterations view religion as important, or even necessary.

1. Even in the 19th century, as religious conviction waned, the warnings were there.
Ivan Karamazov, in “The Brothers Karamazov,” exclaimed ‘if God does not exist, then everything is permitted.’

2. "There is no God: This concept is an essential element of Marxism.
As Lenin stated: "Atheism is a natural and inseparable portion of Marxism, of the theory and practice of Scientific Socialism."
If God exists and is in supreme command of the universe, He possesses discretionary power, and His actions cannot always be calculated accurately in advance. The whole edifice of Marxism collapses.

When Marx and the Communists deny the existence of God, they simultaneously deny the authority of the Ten Commandments, the existence of absolute standards of right and wrong, of good and evil; and man is left on the playing fields of the universe without a referee, without a book of rules. The winning side in any conflict can decide on what rules of conduct to apply. Morality is the creation of the victor."
The Schwarz Report Essays

a. As one of his friends later recalled, "Vladimir Ilych Ulyanov (Lenin) had the courage to come out and say openly that famine would have numerous positive results...Famine, he explained....would bring about the next stage more rapidly, and usher in socialism, the stage that necessarily followed capitalism. Famine would also destroy faith, not only in the tsar, but in God, too."
"The Black Book of Communism: Crimes, Terror, Repression," by Jean-Louis Panné, Andrzej Paczkowski, Karel Bartosek and Jean-Louis Margolin , p.123-124.

3. And just one more example of that view is the murder endorsed by Liberal governments, Euthanasia.
Philosopher Helga Kuhse: "'Euthanasia' is a compound of two Greek words - eu and thanatos meaning, literally, 'a good death'. Today, 'euthanasia' is generally understood to mean the bringing about of a good death - 'mercy killing,' where one person, A, ends the life of another person, B, for the sake of B."
Euthanasia Fact Sheet The World Federation of Right to Die Societies

What if they don't ask B's permission? Wouldn't that make it murder?

4. In 1984, Holland legalized euthanasia, the right of Dutch doctors to kill their elderly patients. Would they do so based on their whim?

a. “The Dutch survey, reviewed in the Journal of Medical Ethics, looked at the figures for 1995 and found that as well as 3,600 authorized cases there were 900 others in which doctors had acted without explicit consent…. they thought they were acting in the patient's best interests.”
Involuntary Euthanasia is Out of Control in Holland

b. Euthanasia, as Dr. Peggy Norris observed with some asperity, "cannot be controlled." If this is so, why is Harris so sure that stem-cell research can be controlled? And if it cannot be controlled, just what is irrational about religious objections to social policies that when they reach the bottom of the slippery slope are bound to embody something Dutch, degraded, and disgusting? How many scientific atheists, I wonder, propose to spend their old age in Holland?"
David Berlinski, "The Devil's Delusion."

And the facilitation for that view is that none of Leftist iterations view religion as important, or even necessary.

To be clear, PoliticalChic, Karl Marx was not an atheist. Karl Marx was a high priest who practiced Satanism. His own wife's letters and sons letters document evidence of this - along with his own writings which were clearly satanic. He began his life as a Christian and then after befriending a friend who as into Satanism - crossed over - a choice he greatly regretted on his death bed although he knew it was too late - he had wasted away every opportunity of repentance by then - here is a link to some of his quotations - note in his poetry he makes clear his desire to throw God down from his throne. He did indeed believe in God - he just didn't serve him - he served Satan. (So did Lenin and Stalin according to the research done by Richard Wurmbrand in his book Marx & Satan )
http://cldibillings.org/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/Karl-Marx-Was-He-a-Satanist.pdf

"Marx writes: "The abolition of religion as the illusory happiness of man is a requisite
for their real happiness. The call to abandon their illusions about their conditions is a
call to abandon a condition which requires illusion...."[p.6]

"Marx was anti-religious because religion obstructs the fulfillment of the Communist ideal which
he considers the only answer to the world's problems."[p 6]

"...a new Marx began to emerge. He writes in a poem, “I wish to avenge myself against the
One who rules above.”[p.7] So he was convinced that there is One above who rules....
Marx belonged to a relatively well-to-do family. He had not hungered in his childhood. He was
much better off than many fellow students.

What produced this terrible hatred against God? No
personal motive is known. ...why should he have written these lines in his poem Invocation of
One in Despair? [p.9]
So a god has snatched from me my all
In the curse and rack of destiny.
All his worlds are gone beyond recall!
Nothing but revenge is left to me!
I shall build my throne high overhead,
Cold, tremendous shall its summit be.
For its bulwark -- superstitious dread.
For its Marshall -- blackest agony.[p.8]
The words “I shall build my throne high overhead” and the confession that from the one
sitting on this throne will emanate only dread and agony, remind us of Lucifer’s proud boast:
'I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God.” (Isaiah 14:13)

But why does Marx wish such a throne? The answer is found in a little-known drama which he
also composed during his student years. It is called Oulanem. To explain this title a digression
is needed.[p.9]

There exists a Satanist church. One of its rituals is the black mass which Satanist priests recite
at midnight....An orgy follows... [pp.10-11]

We will be able to understand the drama Oulanem only in the light of a strange confession
which Marx made in a poem called The Player, later down-played by both himself and his
followers:

The hellish vapors rise and fill the brain,
Till I go mad and my heart is utterly changed.
See this sword? The prince of darkness sold it to me. -
For me beats the time and gives the signs.
Ever more boldly I play the dance of death.[p.12]
Now I quote from [Marx's] drama Oulanem:
And they are also Oulanem, Oulanem.
The name rings forth like death, rings forth
Until it dies away in a wretched crawl.
Stop, I’ve got it now! It rises from my soul....
Yet I have power within my youthful arms
To clench and crush you [i.e., personified humanity] with ..............

Interesting fact - the communists were never so troubled as they were after Richard Wurmbrand's book came out exposing the true story on Karl Marx. They were furious and did all they could think of to discredit it him but none of it worked because Wurmbrand's sources were based on the very words written by Marx - copies of letters - much of what was archived by the Russians - he used their own documents - much of it - to prove the point that Marx was a God hating satanist. Amazing, eh? You should buy the book, Marx & Satan by Richard Wurmbrand! You won't regret it! That link will give you information you probably have never seen before! What a great time to expose Satan! The month of October! ha! ha! I love it.

It was Lenin who was quoted.

We get it. You hate liberals.

Why do you people always equate truth with hate? If you hate the truth about what you are for why not change what you are for?

Or do you hate the truth when you have to be reminded of it because it causes you to realize what you are defending is indefensible? Therein the personal accusations, temper tantrums ad nauseum..... ?

[pp.10-11]
We will be able to understand the drama Oulanem only in the light of a strange confession
which Marx made in a poem called The Player, later down-played by both himself and his
followers:The hellish vapors rise and fill the brain,
Till I go mad and my heart is utterly changed.

Lenin was also a satanist. The seat of Satan - which is an altar to Zeus - was moved to Russia after WWII and an exact replica of the seat of Satan was erected for Lenin's Tomb. I find it fascinating that so many tourists have visited his tomb and not realized they were actually looking at a replica of that satanic altar. Incredible. You definitely need to buy a copy of Wurmbrand's book! You will be amazed, PC! He really did his research! The sources he uses, the research - what a magnificent job he did! Great book!

Here is the history on the altar - which this seat of Satan is mentioned in the Bible as well - a replica was made for Lenin's tomb - because - he was a satanist- actually when you read Wurmbrand's book you'll learn that the original inner circle of communists was named hell too. As Wurmbrand expounds on Marx hypocrisy he begs the question why not call that inner circle Betterment for the poor? Why call it, "hell".? ha! ha! Because they served Lucifer - they were not atheists at all! That was just the story they sold everyone else! Think about it - why did the Russians name their nuclear missile SS Satan? It's all right there in front of us but so many do not want to really examine the true history of Marx, Lenin, Stalin........

Here is the history on the seat of Satan.......

Mystery Babylon the Great
Satan's Throne
The message to the pastor at Pergamon begins with a reminder of the Lord's two-edged sword with which He will make war at the Second Advent against the enemies of Israel (Revelation 2:12, 16; 19:11-15, 21). The "two-edged sword" that comes from the Lord's mouth will be used at the Second Advent, but the sword also symbolizes the great wars of history that represent the Second Advent, such as World Wars I and II.

Revelation 2:12-13
12 “And to the messenger (pastor-teacher) of the church in Pergamum write: The One who has the sharp two-edged sword says this: 13 ‘I know where you dwell, where Satan's throne is; and you hold fast My name, and did not deny My faith, even in the days of Antipas, My witness, My faithful one, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells.Satan's throne was a metaphor for the Altar of Zeus in Pergamon (or Pergamum). A reconstruction of the altar in the Berlin Museum is shown in the photo. Notice that the altar resembles a large throne. There are 24 steps from the ground to the top of the altar, where 24 stands for Satan's strategic attack on Israel. Satan's attack on Israel is his strategy in world history. The Altar of Zeus was one of the Seven Wonders of the World. It's history is even more of a wonder.
A German archaeologist, Carl Humann, began excavating the altar on September 9, 1878. The altar was moved back to Germany and reconstructed. Kaiser Wilhelm II celebrated its erection in Berlin in 1902. German archeologists also excavated ancient Babylon in Iraq from 1899 to 1917. They brought the Ishtar Gate back to Berlin. Germany started World War I in 1914. After the death of Vladimir Lenin in 1924, a granite mausoleum based upon the design of the Pergamon Altar of Zeus was built for him and opened in 1929.10,11 Note that 1924 stands for Satan's strategic attack on Israel.

The Ishtar Gate and the Processional Way from the excavations of ancient Babylon were reconstructed in Germany and temporarily accommodated in the Kaiser Friedrich Museum until 1929, when they were moved to the Pergamon Museum in east Berlin. They were first presented to the public in 1930 when the Pergamon Museum opened.9 In 1933 Adolph Hitler was elected Chancellor of Germany. In 1934 he became dictator and ordered construction of the Tribune at Zeppelin Field in Nuremberg for his Nazi rallies.12,13 The architect, Albert Speer, used the Pergamon Altar as the model for the tribune. The Führer's pulpit was in the center of the tribune, which was built from 1934 to 1937. Adolph Hitler, the Evil King of Germany started World War II in 1939. After the end of World War II, the Soviets took the Pergamon Altar to Leningrad in 1948 as spoils. The Alter was later returned in 1958.14

Thus, Satan's throne in the form of the Pergamon Altar was moved from Pergamon to Berlin to herald the rise of the Evil Kings of Germany in World Wars I and II. It was used as the plan for Lenin's tomb in 1929 to herald the rise of the Evil King of the Soviet Union. And it was taken to Russia in 1948 to herald the beginning the Soviet attempt at world conquest. It was returned to Berlin in 1958. Both Lenin and Hitler were symbols of the coming Evil King of the Revived Roman Empire during the Tribulation.

_______________________________
So as you can see they Soviets took the seat of Satan from Germany - The Altar was not returned - the sent back a replica perhaps but the real altar remains in Russia to this very day and if I am not mistaken - Wurmbrand made mention of it being located in the Kremlin I believe - furthermore as the satanists in Russia would consider this a very important posession - it would never be returned under any conditions but one can understand why they would want others to believe it was not in their possession.

When Daniel 7 & 8 are fulfilled - when the anti Christ arises out of the EU - it is possible that the Russians would send the altar to Germany as Germany is listed in Daniel Chapter 7 as being given dominion in that hour right before the Anti-Christ is revealed - and of course then it would make sense that the altar would be returned there but at the time of Wurmbrand's book the seat of Satan was not located in Berlin - from the information I read about it - that would not be possible - the Anti-Christ was not even announced to be "in the world" by the Satanists until 1972. These people are thinking it was returned in 58'.

And, speaking of that great Progressive 'societal advance,' euthanasia.....

9." The number of mentally ill people who have been killed through euthanasia in the Netherlands has trebled in a single year, according to new figures.

... in 2012, 14 people with "severe psychiatric problems" were killed by lethal injection, a figure that rose to 42 in 2013.

There had also been a 15 percent overall rise in assisted dying over the past year, with the number of cases increasing from 4,188 to 4,829.

Deaths from euthanasia have risen by a total of 151 percent in a period of just seven years, with most cases involving cancer sufferers. However, there were also 97 people who were killed by their doctors because they had dementia.

The figures do not include "terminal sedation", where the patient is sedated and then has food and fluids withdrawn. If they did, however, euthanasia would account for one in eight of all deaths in the Netherlands.

Dr Peter Saunders of the Christian Medical Fellowship told the Daily Mail that euthanasia in the Netherlands is "way out of control", saying that it proves that assisted dying is impossible to regulate.

"What we are seeing in the Netherlands is 'incremental extension', the steady intentional escalation of numbers with a gradual widening of the categories of patients to be included.

"The lessons are clear. Once you relax the law on euthanasia or assisted suicide steady extension will follow as night follows day."

Wurmbrand quoted so much of Marx poetry, plays written, comments by those who knew him best, letters that were written to Marx - that it is undeniable he was indeed a satanist - I agree that Lenin was quoted above but Marx was also quoted as having desired to throw God down from his throne. Lenin thought no one would ever figure out he was Satanist. He was very wrong about that. They were all found out. Wurmbrand ripped the veil off their secrets and shredded any doubt in the minds of the reader. It is an outstanding book. Any book that makes the communists as unhappy as Marx & Satan did? Is a great book!

The Netherlands is a very godless place. A lot of child sacrifice, missing children reports, child sex trafficking, satanic covens, corrupt officials, police, gov officials, right up there with Belgium. I'm not suprised to learn they murder their elderly too. Very sick society over there.

Psychiatry, psychology is just another method by satanists (albeit undercover) to usurp God's authority and ability - it goes hand in hand with their control of the pharmaceutical companies worldwide that medicate people (because psychiatry has never cured a single person) and with the drugs these satanist cartels have invented - Zoloft, prozac, paxil, etc it is leading to suicides and mass shootings such as we have seen even here in the USA. Solvay of Belgium has been responsible for a great deal of those drugs produced. They are well known Satanists in Belgium and owned Solvac also sold drug patents to Abbott Labs in USA.

The word Pharmakaei means sorcery. It makes sense they would be in control of it as well as the psychology business - which is also total garbage - nonsense. It is all designed to usurp God's authority - His ability - His Word which says that those who keep their mind stayed upon the LORD he will keep in perfect peace. So these pharm cartels and doctors say no - that won't work - because God does not exist - we are the gods and have created your cures. Follow us... see how sick that is? It is utterly satanic.

I have never met a sold out Christian following the LORD who has ever been dependent on mind altering drugs, liquor or anything else for their peace. It is a total lie to have to be dependent on such things to have peace of mind and so sad to see millions of people believe such a lie.
( rather than believing on Jesus Christ and enjoying life in God! )
