Evangelical devotion to Trump

Christians don’t believe Trump is a devout Christian. They just believe he is a better option than the current president who appears to despise Christians

Then why choose him over a man of unquestioned Christian values like Mike Pence?

They put no caveat on their devotion to Trump such as……I oppose his moral decisions but support his candidacy

Trump is the worst kind of leader, who will openly pander to his base while secretly despising them, and the base seems okay with this arrangement.

The irony that alleged "Christians" are the ones making a Faustian bargain.
but they don't see it as a Faustian bargain. Quite the opposite. They see their god, who shares their political positions (which they characterize as their faith - like Alito, even though no one cares if his wife or kids aborts) USING an imperfect human to further God's goals. And no one can oppose God's goals .... even if most of us don't think God shares those goals ....

For one thing, conservative Christian’s were overwhelmingly in favor of Trump’s foreign policies and his economic policies. They are a known thing. Pence was just along for the ride then.

Have these people even read the Bible they claim to hold so dear?
How can they ignore the basic backbone of their religion to support a man who refuses to admit guilt or change his ways?

He’s been found liable for committing sexual abuse. He’s bragged about grabbing women by the you-know-what. He’s in the middle of a court case over paying hush money to a porn star with whom he allegedly cheated on his wife — the third woman he’s married. And he’s the de facto leader of American evangelicalism.

How could Christians embrace a leader who has seemingly treated half the “thou shalt nots” in the Bible as a challenge?
Another bait thread. Religious people are rejecting the DEMONcrats.

Nope. They definitely have not.

I've seen quite a few posters on this forum make claims about the Bible which are not there. And they certainly have not even read the Ten Commandments.
On top of that, they'll attack on behalf of "Christianity", but when cornered they admit they're not even Christians themselves.

Those who claim to be Christians have sold their soul to an obscene atheist con man and make zero effort to be decent.

They've made a mockery of the religion.

Who is 'they' specifically?

Only leftists 'sell their souls', your material is in sad need of updating, it's old and overused.

You forgot Trump is a racist!

These people are batshit crazy and have nothing to do with God, Jesus or the Bible.

God does not like Trump!
