OP, it looks like Christianity Today was made for guys just like you! It's first editor was Carl Henry:

You're a lot more energetic to take care of a baby at 26 or 28 than you are at a later stage in your life.

I asked God to send me someone and about a month later I met my wife and we've been together 14 years now.
