"The Case for Early Marriage"

Amid our purity pledges and attempts to make chastity hip, we forgot to teach young Christians how to tie the knot.

Never been. Asked a gf a dozen or so years ago but she said no. Just as well.

OP, it looks like Christianity Today was made for guys just like you! It's first editor was Carl Henry:
Carl F. H. Henry - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
His first book was Remaking the Modern Mind, 1946. His second book is a critique, The Uneasy Conscience of Modern Fundamentalism, 1947, in which, while rejecting modern liberalism, and preserving a doctrinal focus on the Bible, also rejected the rigidness and disengagement of Fundamentalists.
He disagreed with the "Fundies"!
Christian fundamentalism - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The term fundamentalism was coined by Baptist editor Curtis Lee Laws in 1920 to designate Christians who were ready "to do battle royal for the Fundamentals"

You're a lot more energetic to take care of a baby at 26 or 28 than you are at a later stage in your life.
