Sorry, but his delay of tariffs and his reason why, prove that the consumer is the one that's gonna be hurt by these tariffs. Yeah, he can give the farmers and ranchers subsidies to help them out while the trade war is going on, but he can't do squat to help out the American consumer, other than to delay the tariffs until after the holiday season.

Even the US bicycle company Trek uses foreign parts. Granted, the frames are built here in the USA, but the components that come with them come from Japan (Shimano), or Europe (Campagnolo, Mavic, etc.). Things that are completely built in the USA are rare.

The fault for the trade imbalance with China is hardly partisan. Both gangs have done nothing about it for decades, while China unfairly steals technology and jobs. The R party doesn’t even support Trump’s trade efforts with China now. Proof they like the Ds are entirely owned and controlled by the a transnational capitalist class...aka the billionaires.
