This is very interesting and hopefully very promising.
They changed the genetic code of the virus to use as a vaccine. The change is the virus won't make you deathly sick and die. You will have the antibodies but the vaccine is a version of the virus that won't make people sick.

Coronavirus: Inside the first-of-its-kind genetic vaccine trial
Researchers at NYU have started clinical trials on a new vaccine developed by Pfizer and a German partner. The vaccine attempts to reprogram the genetic code of the coronavirus rather than manipulate the live virus so that the body will produce antibodies to fight off COVID-19.
