Fort Hood shooter may never be executed even if found guilty

The federal government set the precedent with the efficient way they tried and executed Timothy McVeigh in seven years from capture to execution. Granted the justice system runs slowly or even backward under the Obama/Holder system but surely the Military has the ability and the willingness to do the right thing and shove the hot needle into the jihad major's arm.

Timothy McVeigh wasn't tried in a military court. And while evil, he probably wasn't insane.
