Fox News admits Red Wave turned into "Absolute Disaster"

The vast majority of polls showed abortion wasn't even in the top 5 of local, state, national polls. It was the economy - higher prices, high gas prices, food shortages, supply chain crisis, diesel and heating fuel shortages / high prices, struggling to get by, etc ...

In the last few days before the election Democrats were panicked, saying they did not listen to Americans / constituents, would pay a high price for extreme / failed policies, and claimed they failed on messaging...in the end it seemed they were almost as shocked as the GOP that the Red Wave did not come.
‘Mitch McConnell’s high-spending super PAC has a suggestion for their party’s campaign committee: Consider picking candidates in primaries who won’t collapse in the general election.

Others see a much bigger issue: Former President Donald Trump and his polarizing presence on the campaign trail – especially as he teased a 2024 campaign in the final days of the midterms.

“That certainly didn’t help,” one Republican lawmaker said.

Then there’s abortion, and Republican hand-wringing over their party’s failure to effectively respond to an onslaught of Democratic attacks. All the while, some are taking out their frustration at party leaders like McConnell and Kevin McCarthy.

“Washington Republicanism lost big Tuesday night,” said Sen. Josh Hawley, a Missouri Republican.

The blame game taking shape in GOP circles comes after bullish predictions of a red wave that failed to materialize. Republicans are now at risk of serving in the Senate minority for the second straight Congress and are struggling to take even a narrow House majority.’

And the ‘red wave’ didn’t materialize at the state level, either – with strong showings by Democratic candidates and approval of ballot measures defending the right to privacy.

Liberals LOVE their abortion, and came out in big numbers to protect it.

And yet the Republicans will still take the House, and if Democrat election fraud can be stopped, the Senate.

So no one in their proper mind cares if there was a wave or not - the Red Riptide will do. :)
You MAGA repubs are pitiful. You are always whining about being cheated. Lots of theories but no evidence.

What were the voting laws then? Be specific.
The founders didn't directly make the claim laws on voting, it was then that women and slaves lacked suffrage.

The 9th and 10th Amendments, the 12th, 14th,15th, 17th, 19th, 24th, 26th are worth reading.

BTW, off topic but I must bring up Section 3 of the 14th Amendment, to wit:

No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.

It is unfortunate that, trump, Johnson, Greene, and others who engaged in the insurrection of January 6, 2021, or given aid and comfort of the enemies, could be denied by 2/3 of each Chambers to serve in these offices of trust.

Fake news.
The economy is turning around.
Biden's work is finally paying off.
Voters realize that and they voted accordingly this week.

Hanging onto old, tired talking points like you've posted here is exactly why Republicans can't win elections anymore.
xiden has made us the worst economy ever

the market is somewhat moving after the gop took the house

You can call it an insurrection all day every day, but that doesn't mean it was. It was a mostly peaceful protest, just like the hundreds of mostly peaceful protests all over the country during the summer of 2020.

The vast majority of polls have been wrong since 2016, so why are you so surprised they were wrong this time? The exit polls said that abortion was the #1 issue for 1/3 of the voters leaving the polling stations.

Democrats scared voters with abortion, social security and Medicare. Then Democrats lied about student loan forgiveness. All smoke and mirrors.

Wrong again. Let me be clear, the riptide is a river. As the waves reach the beach the water recedes in a wide river returning back to the sea. Those who get caught in the river and try to reach the beach will drown; those who swim parallel to the river are released from the current and will catch the waves onto the beach.

I grew up four blocks from the Pacific Ocean and carried my surfboard into the water for years.
