GA Woman Dies After Being Denied Lifesaving Abortion Care

Abortion is taking a life, despite you pretending otherwise, and an innocent one at that.

Sorry, but zero sympathy for someone breaking into someone's house with ill intent getting lead poisoning because of it.
Yet you defend Daniel Shaver being executed in a hotel hallway.

That’s taking a life.

A D&C and an abortion are two different things. Georgia law allows a D&C in this case. She'd already taken abortion pills, the baby has perished
The doctors didn't preform the procedure for fear of being prosecuted by the state.

"In July 2022, the state of Georgia banned abortion after six weeks of pregnancy and made the previously routine, and lifesaving, act of performing a dilation and curettage, or D&C, a felony in all but a few circumstances."

Yes they are with medical exceptions that are so vague doctors in the state are afraid to do them.

A D&C isn’t an abortion. She died of an infection at the hospital were she was being treated

D&C are.not abortions and not felonies.

That’s misinformation and lies

The doctors and the facility should be better at knowing state laws.

There's no reason they didn't save this woman's life. They were fully allowed to

Now you are rambling into a Police Action?

All to avoid calling a fetus a life....
Daniel Shaver was a life. That we all agree on.

You want doctors to risk being thrown in prison for years but don’t have any problem with cops murdering a guy in a hallway because they can’t take the risk that he’s just trying to pull up his shorts.

The two situations are not remotely comparable. Stop trying to deflect and stay on topic.

Sounds like massive medical mal practice. If it's true the doctors just let her sit in the hospital and die of the infection

which it appears is what the OP and dembots are claiming

In her final hours, Amber Nicole Thurman suffered from a grave infection that her suburban Atlanta hospital was well-equipped to treat.

She’d taken abortion pills and encountered a rare complication; she had not expelled all of the fetal tissue from her body. She showed up at Piedmont Henry Hospital in need of a routine procedure to clear it from her uterus, called a dilation and curettage, or D&C.

But just that summer, her state had made performing the procedure a felony, with few exceptions. Any doctor who violated the new Georgia law could be prosecuted and face up to a decade in prison.

Thurman waited in pain in a hospital bed, worried about what would happen to her 6-year-old son, as doctors monitored her infection spreading, her blood pressure sinking and her organs beginning to fail.

It took 20 hours for doctors to finally operate. By then, it was too late.

Looks like Georgias governor and legislature has more blood on its hands.

Never happened.

I read about a girl who was underage and took abortion pills without her parents knowing and then bleed to death.

Strange how these types of stories get ignored.

Or how about under aged girls being raped and killed by immigrants? Those stories are a dime a dozen these days, yet people like Skews don't seem to give a damn.

Funny that.
Killing women and girls has always been a goal.
