Prosecutors in the Kyle Rittenhouse case are seeking to admit a video from an incident prior to the Kenosha protest shootings where Rittenhouse said he wished he had his AR-15 so he could shoot people he witnessed shoplifting.

Rittenhouse, 18, formerly an Antioch resident, was arrested in August 2020 for fatally shooting Anthony Huber and Joseph Rosenbaum and shooting and injuring a third person.

He was charged with first-degree intentional homicide, two counts of first-degree recklessly endangering safety, first-degree reckless homicide, attempted first-degree intentional homicide and possession of a dangerous weapon by a person under 18.

Prosecutors filed a motion this week saying they obtained a video where a person, identified by them as Rittenhouse, is on the side of a street watching several people leave a CVS Pharmacy, the Kenosha News reported. The motion said that Rittenhouse was watching the group of people leave the CVS while carrying bags and loading them into the trunk of a car. "It looks like one of them has a weapon," Rittenhouse said, according to the motion.

If you actually want to see failure in action watch the court proceedings live or later like everyone else. You can see the prosecution's case literally fall apart...they don't have any murder charges left that can be prosecuted by the state's own self defense specialist's testimony...

Those charges likely will become directed verdicts. The only charge left is the firearm charge. And that's a Shakey charge to begin with as stated by the judge...

Dunno why he isn't under the jail at this point. Usually confessing to multiple felonies while in the witness stand gets you locked up. Like the attempted murder, reckless endangerment, perjury, and obstruction of justice and the felony weapons charge.

Whats dumb is that by this point you have never understood the chain of custody...the video you are talking about is the very definition of exculpatory evidence...and probably faked. I, myself can make one in ten minutes and I have no ability to do so. Software is cheap and readily available to make this...

Rittenhouse was a minor child during the alleged event. If he were charged with a misdemeanor, he would be dealt with as "delinquent" by the juvenile authorities and reprimanded to the custody of his parents.

Gaige Paul Grosskreutz of West Allis, Wisconsin, United States was one of the men shot by Kyle Rittenhouse on August 25, 2020. They were in the same Black Lives Matter demonstration in Kenosha, Wisconsin that day.

During the demonstration, Rittenhouse was one of the armed civilians who wanted to protect businesses from vandalism. Grosskreutz was one of the protesters demanding justice for Jacob Blake, who was shot by Kenosha Police Department officer Rusten Sheskey in the back at least eight times on August 23, 2020.




With a PARAMEDIC cap, a medical bag and a handgun, Grosskreutz volunteered as a medic earlier that night. He was part of the People’s Revolution Movement, a social justice group based in Milwaukee, and attended the demonstration with the group.

From 2013 to 2016, he attended Milwaukee Area Technical College at the Oak Creek, Wisconsin campus where he earned his emergency medical technician basic (EMT-B) certification.
In 2016, he was convicted of a criminal misdemeanor for going armed with a firearm while intoxicated. He also had a forfeiture case for not showing obedience to officers and one for loud noises.

Yeah... Grosskreutz wasn't going to admit to attempted murder...but his actions looked and sounded exactly that way. Exactly and precisely like he was trying to kill Kyle from close quarters where the pistol is equal to the rifle. Even others testified to everything that would make a great case of Grosskreutz attempting to do everything that Kyle is being charged with.

Grosskreutz only pulled out his pistol AFTER Rittenhouse shot and killed two people. Under other circumstances, you'd be calling him a "Good guy with a gun" that you gun nuts say you are always looking for.
