The ‘big price’ Paul Ryan has paid for supporting Donald Trump

The ‘big price’ Paul Ryan has paid for supporting Donald Trump

The Caligulan malice with which Donald Trump administered Paul Ryan’s degradation is an object lesson in the price of abject capitulation to power. This episode should be studied as a clinical case of a particular Washington myopia — the ability of career politicians to convince themselves that they and their agendas are of supreme importance.

The pornographic politics of Trump’s presidential campaign, which was preceded by decades of ignorant bile (about Barack Obama’s birth certificate and much else), have not exhausted Trump’s eagerness to plumb new depths of destructiveness. Herewith the remarkably brief timeline of the breaking of Ryan to Trump’s saddle.

Will makes an excellent case of how destructive the Trump campaign has been for the GOP.

George Will is a pompous, dry bagged limp dick who uses big words that the average liberal couldn't understand the definitions, let alone the words. He's a self described Conservative but is actually a staunch Liberal nut licker without any credibility, IMO. The other week O'Reilly described Will as a liar and a hack. Will had no answer because he knows it's true. As for Ryan he's just the Chief RINO in a gaggle of other RINOs, Piss Be Upon Them..

"With the surrender of House Speaker Paul D. Ryan (Wis.) to the Trump crusade, it is fair to wonder what the Republican Party stands for.

"Ryan’s endorsement of Trump, which appeared in an op-ed the speaker wrote for his hometown paper — rather than before a gaggle of reporters and newscasters with his arm draped around Trump’s shoulders — was a white flag from the establishment opposition."
There's a rumor on the left that claims Ryan no longer wins a majority of his hometown vote (due to his support of "free" trade agreements.

If only a majority of Republicans and Democrats would FLUSH their own incumbents from DC next November?

The GOP surrenders to the dark side

In other words he uses words of more than one syllable, so he has to be an elitist snob. LOL

Used to read Bill Buckley. Now you would really be accusing him of being a Rino.

George Will sure is a smart man.

He could also make a hell of a case for how destructive the GOP has been to its very own supporters---the American People...or perhaps I should say...the dwindling number of the America people who do work...who produce and who support their families, or at least are willing to try to do so...rather than sit perpetually on the Federal Porch, and I want to be sure include all Republicans in Washington as perpetually sitting on the Federal Porch...right along with the actaul Porch Sitters in Demo-run rotting citis like Chicago and Detroit.

We KNOW the Socialist/Democrats are ruining the country....they are the Enemy, we expect it.

But, our own people are sniveling Pussys!

I don't know who is the worst....but we must do away with both names after this year...Democrat must go...Republican must go.

They ought to be known henceforth as The Socialist Party and The Pussy Party.

The Caligulan malice, conspicuous dissonance , contemporary progressivism, insouciant intensification of his anti-institutional politics, purchase with the coin of his reputation.

Ol' Rodney Redneck never went past the 6th grade so one syllable words like this would have him scratching his punkin.

George, I would vote for the devil if it would keep Ol' Rottoncrotch Clinton out of the White House.

George is a good man and so is Ryan. They are both watching each other's backs. What they continue not to get is that republicans in power have not done anything. Talk is cheap and that is all these two have done. I don't care how flowery or eloquent your tirades are George, show me the money. It,is real simple to,Main Street. You can talk forever about fixing the, potholes, but I am still driving on this road and the potholes are worse and you guys haven't done one thing about it. We need to push you guys to the side and get someone who can get the job done. It ain't personal, you two are just irrelevant.

There is no way I would ever vote for her either, Hoss.
America deserves a better choice, imho.

Then you should not have supported Trump, guys.

He won't be elected.

Ryan is a career Washington- insider who only cares about keeping his taxpayer-funded pension and i bet dollars to donuts he'll sell-out to the Kochs after he leaves Washington

Whereas Buckley was an intellectual, George Will is a pompous ass. O'Reilly is a pompous ass too. However I like both Bill and George. But I would not put up with their bloviating.

Yep. They're trying everything in the book to railroad The Donald.
Double Down Donald has done himself in.

He is trying to back up on the racist comments, but his own words trap him.

We are going to get HRC because too many in our party supported the man behind the curtain.

If you don't vote for Trump, you are voting for the Hildebeast....Math, apparently is a hard subject when you have a choice between 2!!!
Does that mean that those that don't vote for the Hildabeast are voting for Trump?
