I had a friend that was killed by a repeat offender, the summer after we graduated. The offender had hit someone in the same spot a couple of years prior.

Also have a sister that was hit head on at 16, by a drunk driver. It really messed her up mentally and physically. She went through the windshield.

You think that she would've been given life without parole by now. Its pretty obvious that she has no desire to get cleaned up.
