There will be a new movie out next year (2014) called God is not dead.
This is of course a Christian movie and the atheist professor who is saying that "God is dead" is played by a real life Christian (Kevin Sorbo) to make the Atheist look bad (of course).

Preview of the movie:

This movie could be made 3,700 times as a matter of fact.
Why, well there are at least 3,700 different Gods (click on link in text box below)

When this movie is over then why not make another 3,699 of them !!!
Why should Christians be more special than any other Religion? (you will probably say that Christianity is unique..Guess what all religions say that).
By the way......Here are some examples of the 3,700 Gods:

1. Numakulla - In Australian aboriginal, the Numakulla is a sky god who created all life on Earth, including humans.
257. Altjira - is the sky god of the Arrernte. He was the central god of the Dreamtime who created the Earth, then retired to the sky.
356. Aramazd - The father of all the gods and goddesses, Aramazd created the heavens and the earth. The first two letters in his name, "AR", are the Armenian root for sun, light, and life.
414. Dionysus - was born of a virgin on December 25 and, as the Holy Child, was placed in a manger. He was a traveling teacher who performed miracles.
1578. Glycon - In the middle of the 100s AD, out along the south coast of the Black Sea, Glycon was the son of the God Apollo, who: came to Earth through a miraculous birth, was the Earthly manifestation of divinity, came to earth in fulfillment of divine prophecy, gave his chief believer the power of prophecy, gave believers the power to speak in tongues, performed miracles, healed the sick, and raised the dead.
1873. Zoroaster - was born of a virgin and “immaculate conception by a ray of divine reason.” He was baptized in a river. In his youth he astounded wise men with his wisdom. He was tempted in the wilderness by the devil. He began his ministry at age 30. Zoroaster baptized with water, fire and “holy wind.” He cast out demons and restored the sight to a blind man. He taught about heaven and hell, and revealed mysteries, including resurrection, judgment, salvation and the apocalypse. He had a sacred cup or grail. He was slain. His religion had a eucharist. He was the “Word made flesh.” Zoroaster’s followers expected a “second coming” in the virgin-born Saoshynt or Savior, who is to come in 2341 AD and begin his ministry at age 30, ushering in a golden age.
2025. Attis - was born on December 25 of the Virgin Nana. He was considered the savior who was slain for the salvation of mankind. His body as bread was eaten by his worshippers. He was both the Divine Son and the Father. On “Black Friday,” he was crucified on a tree, from which his holy blood ran down to redeem the earth. He descended into the underworld. After three days, Attis was resurrected.
2369. Horus - Born of a virgin, Isis. Only begotten son of the God Osiris. Birth heralded by the star Sirius, the morning star. Ancient Egyptians paraded a manger and child representing Horus through the streets at the time of the winter solstice (about DEC-21). In reality, he had no birth date; he was not a human.

Also, why should a movie be so special if it's only for 15% of the world population.

According to statistics, of all people on earth 29% are Christians. What is never told when that number is presented is that is includes all people in Christian countries.
For example, they include all people in Sweden, Norway, Canada and USA for example.

What is interesting is that in many of these so called "Christian" countries, the majority are non-believers. The below figures are taken from the latest Gallup poll:

Is Religion important in your life - People who answer "No" in percentage below:
Sweden 88%
Denmark 80.5%
Norway 78%
Czech Republic 74.5%
Hong Kong 75.5%
Japan 75%
United Kingdom 73%
Finland 70%
France 69.5%
Australia 67.5%
Canada 67%
Netherlands 66.5%
New Zealand 66%
Germany 59%
etc
etc

The people above are clearly not included in the Bible quote:
Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me

When adding up all the people in the Christan countries, there are 48% that are secular (They say that religion is not important).
Once again, the percentage on earth that are Christians is 29%. Lets take out the 48% that are secular and not religious. 29*0,48=14
Now lets subtract it from the total: 29-14=15%

15% of the world population are "Christians" and 85% are not.

Then i finish with my two questions:
1. Why is this movie special if it could be made another 3,699 times ?? (you Christians are no more special than the other religions and their Gods)
2. Why is this movie special if it is only for 15% of the world population ??

The results of the poll do not necessarily reflect the percentage of Christians in the world. The poll asks whether religion is important in ones life. It does not ask whether one is Christian. I believe the percentages would be dramatically different if pollsters were asked the latter question.

John,

What is the motivation of the movie? To have a Christian make the athiest look bad?
Did you make a Christian movie because you couldn't get the Christians to watch it otherwise?
Or did you cast a Christian to get the athiests to watch it?

What is the point of the movie?

Didn't Kevin Sorbo play Hercules?

Chuck

Didn't Kevin Sorbo play Hercules?
And a gay Spartan on the spoof of 300, he actually kisses a dude.
so what, rock hudson played straight guys all the time.... (place irony here)
truth is guys actors will do just about anything to act.. not that what is portrayed in "christian films" requires much acting.
it's just read the lines and keep from laughing out loud..
