Good Economic News Today.... I Guess

The economy is doing well

Thank you Joe Biden!
It seems that way but many seem to be cherry picking statistics or making exaggerated claims to make it look bad.

Oddly they simultaneously paint a horrid economic picture while the person they support for president is trying to take credit for it.

It's a paradox I tell you.

I earned my retirement. It's not a gift. I earned it. Every penny.

I'm also a Disabled Veteran. That limits me as well.

Anything else you'd care to miss the mark on today?
Im sure candyporn served in the military also, maybe he will tell us which branch.....

We are seeing something no one thought could happpen. Instead of a soft landing we are seeing a springboard landing as the economy takes off. People are saying Joe Biden’s economy is the greatest in the world. No one does the economy better than Joe Biden.

"This a Paid Announcement" should headline your every post.

Nothing. Just propaganda. Nothing else. No substance, no reasoning, no examination, no -- Nothing.

Just puking out a meme. It's all you dimocrap scum ever do.

Politicians get far too much credit and blame for economic situations within the country. The ones that I admire are those that make tough choices which are terrible political choices but are much needed to insure the country's long-term needs. Best example that comes to me is Carter's nomination of Paul Volcker as chairman of the Federal Reserve.

George HW Bush also deserves to share in the credit concerning the decrease in the nation's deficit spending in the final years of the 20th century. Which is something each of our 21st century presidents and congresses should hide their face in shame.

He's right, though.

The inflation rate in Japan for 2022 was 2.5%

In the USA it was 8%

2023 it was 4.1 in the USA and 3.2 in Japan.

So what the FUCK kind of bullshit nonsense are dimocrap scum trying to push??

We had a GDP growth rate SUBSTANTIALLY less than the inflation rate and you FUCKING IDIOTS think that's a good thing? How stupid do you think we are?

Go peddle your lies on a College Campus somewhere, Those are the only people -- Kids, children, dumb enough to buy into your lunacy.

Are we comiing out of it? Yes, but not because of anything the scumbag Joey Shits Pants has ever done. The Fed? Maybe.

Joey The Pedo? No fucking way.

dimocraps aren't just scum, they're stupid, too.

The nominal GDP growth rate in 2023 was 6.3%, well above inflation (which, of course, is why real GDP grew). What the hell are you talking about?

Substance is in the jobs thread. This is a silly thread.

What was the inflation rate in Japan 2018?

I suspect lower then ours.

Japan has struggled with deflation and low growth for decades, so I'm not sure why they're being held up as the star of the class.

Meanwhile while the U.S. economy was taking off last year, they were slipping into some of the same old problems.

The U.S. economy is the envy of the world right now.

Yet amazingly your alleged disabilities haven’t kept you from posting on a message board and throwing a 3 year long temper tantrum.
Nor did anything stop you from 7 years of TDS. Speaking of alleged disabilities--like the vegetable's asthma? ESAD, you commie POS. That American's disabilities that you disparage came as a result of his dedication to preserving your right to be an asshole.

I don't blame you.

Getting close to retiring too at 62. Lots of travel plans.

Not waiting on SS either. Taking it at 62.

Will be nice to leave the job market and relax.
It is tough when one has been a lifetime saver to change to a lifetime spender.
