Could the tide be turning?

ROTFLMAO!!!! Though it's still called the Austin Gun show, the company that is running the gun show moved it out of Austin and it'll be held in Cedar Park, Texas. So, now Austin has lost the money that it would have gathered from the renting of the venue and the sales tax collected on firearms sold.

Libs are STOOOPID!!!

It is amazing how short sighted some are.

This simply means that all gun shows will now be only professional gun sellers. The "gun show loophole" was not about anything except private citizens selling their privately owned guns.

Since they will not have access to the system to do background checks, they won't be able to sell at a gun show.

But they will still be able to sell their privately owned guns to other private citizens without a background check.

Two questions:

1. Is it wise to allow private citizens to sell guns to other private citizens without a background check?

2. Does a private citizen have a duty to make sure unstable persons do not have in their possession, custody or control a gun?

1. Why wouldn't it be?

2. Every gun owner should be responsible for their weapons and should take steps to insure their weapons are safe and secure. They are not required to oversee what unstable people control or possess.

If you believe we are all our brother's keeper, then yes.

How glib (that's not a compliment). Apparently both questions are too highbrow for you. It's sad that you don't understand the essence of duty within our legal framework.

No..You did not like the response, which is logical.
Logic defies and confounds the liberal agenda.

Thangod for Austin :mm:

Yes...This little corner of the world, Austin, is so representative of the mood of the country.
Please.
The fact is the people of this country are sick and tired of the far left agenda coming from inside the Beltway and the complicit main stream media. Which is a de facto arm of the democrat party.

How does it affect your life that Austin is there? You know, in what your ilk fondly refers to as "Texass"?

it means, smart guy, that theres hope for Tejas yet.

Asheville, NC is a mini Austin...Doesn;t mean The Old North State is going blue.
In fact we have a GOP controlled legislature for the first time in over 100 years.
Not even Buncombe, Mecklenburg, Wake and Guilford Counties have majority democrat representation. And these are all college dominated communities with disproportionately high representation is Raleigh.
