GOP Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts: ‘If you legalize marijuana, you’re gonna kill your kids’

He’s right. You’re certainly putting them at great risk. And big pot is circumventing regulation putting everyone at risk.
Pot causes serious issues and especially vulnerable are young people because the brain chemistry does not fully develop until the ages of 25-28. Young people are at greatest risk.
You won’t know that because big pot and their bought politicians keep this suppressed.
Good for that Nebraska governor.

Legalized pot would still be illegal for kids. Same as booze and cigarettes, you understand that don’t you?

It shows that the context of the argument is off. Those who want to legalize aren’t talking about for kids so coming back by implying you are endangering kids is rather stupid.

they're all gonna die!

Tell the governor that you're not supposed to smoke pot until you are at least 18.
Tell the gov that it’s people up to 28 years old who are at greatest risk. 18 is a fallacy.

Is that why people that are 18 can kill people when they join the military and at 21 they can drink a toxin to numb themselves?

One contradiction does not justify another.

No it doesn't yet, we allow kids to ruin their lives by getting married at eighteen...

Again, bad decisions do not justify other bad decisions.

And considering that kids already know how to get it when they want it, it's just a stupid argument formed with archaic thinking.

Pot smoke is becoming dangerously ubiquitous while not nearly as dangerous tobacco smoke, which was once ubiquitous, is nearly extinct. Things can be fixed.

In a society where a very large % of us abuse alchohol

Pretty insane to criminalize any cannabis product.

No one takes a dab and beats their wife or their kid.
