Red-Baiter Senator Joe McCarthy held the similar, bullying views of Senator Ted Cruz of recent notoriety and fame. McCarthy ran roughshod over usual civil decency and normal bounds of political attack. Senator Cruz ran roughshod over the Republican Minority in Government--engaging in a futile gesture with no chance of successful outcome.
Speaker Boehner also made us run for the history books, and probably made some already.
The appearance similarities between the two Senators are likely sufficient of themselves to Senator Cruz, his own place(?)!
