Green New Deal

We gave away jobs, revenue, and leadership...because a couple of rich fossil fuel owning families have demanded that they retain their power and
prestige

You don't need to do tricks to sell fuel. Fuel sells itself. Whatever oil we don't want, other places will be more than happy to take our share.

The movement toward socialistic programs such as Medicare for All and free college education has gained wide spread support. For example, a vast majority of American, 70% according to Reuters are in favor of Medicare for All. And don't think this is just democrats. In the survey, 52% of republicans supported it and 85% of democrats. Support for free colleges is not as strong but is growing rapidly.

If somebody suggested government buy us a new car every three years, what do you suppose the outcome of a poll on that idea would be?
I don't remember any new car in the deal.

It was a hypothetical.

Oh, good. I didn't really want a new anyway.

You didn't want to get the point either. And that is if you tell Americans that government will give them something, very few will refuse it.

Would you refuse free healthcare? Of course not. If I phrase the question a little differently, would you support government free healthcare paid for by the government out of taxes, would you support it? People are not near as stupid as you think.

Humanity & Earth itself has never been more certain of future prosperity than we are right now. Stop crying and learn to appreciate the fact that you were born during the greatest time in history, you lucky sons of bitches.

The world is not ending in 12years. Anyone who tells you that regardless of how many degrees they earned or which pulpit they speak from, they are lying, they are disingenuous & are brainwashing your kids.

Green New Deal is technologically possible, experts say. But it will cost trillions of dollars, require expansive new taxes and federal programs, and could not be accomplished within the 10-year timeframe that supporters say is necessary.

If for one minute you feel healthcare would be free, yes people are that stupid.

"Why does the Green Big Deal list every other minority but LGBT people? It even lists “youth” as a minority, something I’ve never seen in 26 yrs of civil rights work. But no mention of LGBT."

And ignoring Climate Change will COST trillions. It has already cost as much as 350 billion.

And that doesn't even account for all the JOBS it will produce as well as energy savings

As noted earlier, I deal with this professionally. Relamping a sky scraper to LED costs millions, and in that millions are a lot of labor costs (JOBS)...and yet the turnaround time to achieve enough savings to offset those millions?

One YEAR

And that's just one example

when did science become that of calling someone denier exactly?

WTF? I repeat. The science debate ended 15 years ago. It's been a POLITICAL debate since then

If no one follows there’s no train! We need to allow the cars to catch up

How do you "lead" from the rear?

The cars you want to catch up...are in front of you
Sure Francis sure. See, they don’t know shit proven right with your post . Stupid you be

Based off what data?

Oil production includes most every thing in life

It's not like trying to sell windmills, electric cars, solar panels, or crap people don't want. Everybody wants oil.

Even if we became a totally alternative fuel country, we still need car tires, we still need asphalt roads, we still need roof shingles.

Noone wants solar panels?

Gee..I see an awful lot of em.

See a shitload of wind turbines in flyover country too

Yea...we'll still use products from oil..but we WON'T be putting CO2 from them into the atmosphere at ANY where near the same levels...and oh yea...energy will be a lot cheaper
