Happy Good Friday

I asked this last year and got a sensible answer, but I've forgotten it.
Why is it GOOD Friday?
First good, is actually holy. It is truly a sad yet joyful day.
Jesus death gave us redemption from our sins. His resurrection gave us life-

Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life” (John 11:25), and in that statement claimed to be the source of both. There is no resurrection apart from Christ, no eternal life. Jesus does more than give life; He is life, and that’s why death has no power over Him. Jesus confers His life on those who trust in Him, so that we can share His triumph over death (1 John 5:11–12). We who believe in Jesus Christ will personally experience resurrection because, having the life Jesus gives, we have overcome death. It is impossible for death to win (1 Corinthians 15:53–57).

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

So let me get this straight. God had to turn himself human to be tortured to erase a punishment he imposed because a woman listened to a talking snake and ate fruit from a magic tree.

Seriously, what a Drama Queen.
You insulted my God...I will cut your head off!!!

I think it had something to do with the word "Good," translation or something.
It wasn't because Jesus died for us.

Not going to placate your ignorance
Prove me wrong about Passover

No, the pharaoh had long been ordering the murdering of the first born of Israelites, and enslaving all other Iraelites. God, through Moses, told him to turn from their evil and release the slaves and quit killing or a price would be paid for their evil. He refused, as well as most Egyptians and they suffered the consequences. Other Egyptians listened to Moses and left with the Israelites. They were spared.

Most of the Egyptians believed Moshe and gave their children over to the Jews.
These children were part of the Mixed Multitude.

Innocent children were killed because of the actions of adults

It was the first born sons , which would usually carry on the evils of the fathers. And Exodus 12:23 states God will protect the homes marked with the blood of the lamb from the destroyer. In other words he protected those willing to turn from evil, as so commanded. Those that would continue their free will given them at birth, in which they chose evil, would not and would reap the plague themselves from the destroyer, which as we know in the beginning was unleashed by eating of the forbidden fruit.
They were warned and did not take heed.
They chose their fate.
That is my humble interpretation of it.
Fortunately for us, God realized, due to free will, there was no one free from sin, and sent His Son to die for us on the cross, so we may be saved from our sins. “Father, forgive them, as they know not what they do.” He redeemed his goodness through the resurrection, that those that follow Him and accept Him as their savior, He will give us eternal life in heaven, free from all ills of the world.
