Harris / Trump Election Polls

How resounding was Kamala Harris’s debate win? Let’s look at the polls.

Early results show Harris won by a historically large margin. And Trump voters acknowledged that and said it could impact their votes.

We’ve so far seen two instant polls — one from CNN and another from YouGov.

The CNN poll showed Harris winning the debate 63 percent to 37 percent among debate-watchers, while the YouGov poll showed her winning 54-31 among registered voters who watched at least some of the debate, with 14 percent unsure. (Trump has cited his own improbably wide margins in some unscientific online polls — posting a series of them on Truth Social — but those polls don’t reflect the actual electorate.)

Notably, those margins are close to the ones Trump racked up after President Joe Biden’s disastrous debate performance on June 27, a performance that ultimately led him to drop out of the 2024 race. Back then, the CNN poll showed Trump winning the debate 67-33, while the YouGov poll showed Trump winning 43-22.
Echo chamber of bias confirmation.

Where's the poll bounce? Should be off the charts already.

hiWhere's the poll bounce? Should be off the charts already.
I don't think Trump's supporters are affected by any of this, and in his Old Weird way he did go through his litany of issues with the Biden admin - including defense and immigration - but he sorta vomited it out in relation to nothing having to do with the issue, and even still he had, yet again, to go through his litanies of grievances of shit taken away from him.

He's not necessarily wrong on these issues - including tariffs and trade, defense and immigration - but the question is whether his "pitch" or sale of his deal tips the scale to him with many voters who don't particularly like either "deal"

We are talking literally about just tens of thousands in each northern battlegrounds

An overwhelming majority of debate watchers said they thought Vice President Kamala Harris outperformed former President Trump in Tuesday night's debate, according to a CNN poll.

The survey respondents went into Tuesday night's debate split, with 50% saying they expected Trump to win and 50% saying they expected a Harris victory. By the end of the night, however, 63% said Harris came out on top, compared to 37% for Trump.

Broken down by candidate, 96% of Harris' supporters said they thought she won, while 69% of Trump supporters said the former president won.

CNN's poll was conducted via text message, surveying 605 registered voters who said they watched Tuesday night's debate. The poll advertises a margin of error of 5.3%.

And that has nothing to do with my post.

Thanks, again, for being an idiot.

Harris leads Trump on "excitement factor" in these 3 battleground states

Updated on: September 9, 2024
Washington — Donald Trump and Kamala Harris are locked in a tight race in three key battleground states heading into their first debate on Tuesday, but Harris leads in a couple of areas. One is the "excitement factor": Democrats in Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin are more excited about what they've seen from Harris' campaign recently than Republicans are about what they've seen from Trump's, according to a new CBS News poll.

Eighty-nine percent of Democrats in Michigan, 82% in Pennsylvania and 87% in Wisconsin say they're excited by Harris campaign. By comparison, among Republicans, 78% said the same of Trump in Michigan, 75% in Pennsylvania and 76% in Wisconsin.

You're post is showing a map. Electoral map. My post has to do with how that map is bullshit
Only in your little mind.

It's a no-toss-up map. It forces the score based on available data.

Sorry....but your first little rant was about the debate which has nothing to do with the map.

So, Jerkwad, try again.

Look at 270towin map above

Harris has slight edge in neck-and-neck race with Trump in NC, WRAL News Poll shows

North Carolina is one of a small number of states with the power to decide who wins the presidency. New polling shows the race here is still statistically tied, but leaning toward Harris.

Real Clear Politics was a “trusted, go-to source” for unbiased polling. The Trump era changed its tone — and funding sources.

New York Times / Jeremy W. Peters / Nov 18, 2020

“Real Clear Politics and its affiliated websites have taken a rightward, aggressively pro-Trump turn over the last four years as donations to its affiliated nonprofit have soared … Real Clear’s evolution traces a similar path as other right-leaning political news outlets that have adapted to the upheaval of the Trump era by aligning themselves with the president and his large following, its writers taking on his battles and raging against the left.” —SS

Because the New York Times said so.

Two weeks ago, it had Harris in the lead.

Sorry chump.
