Well, Betty and Moronica, let's review the facts.

1. Democrats demanded slavery and segregation. To fight them, Republicans formed their party to fight those iniquities.

2. Violence has always been the default of the Democrats, so they formed the KKK.

3. These three were murdered by KKK Democrats.
murder_fbiposter_700.jpg__700x617_q85_crop_subsampling-2_upscale.jpg

4. The imbecile, Coyote, claimed it was Republicans who killed them.

5. The judge appointed by Democrat JFK gave them light sentences.
He was, of course, a Democrat, and KKK sympathizer.

6. Even the Washington Post had to grudgingly admit this: "Although there is some historical link between Democrats and the KKK, ...."

7. Democrats blocked every anti-lynching bill that the Republicans brought to Congress.

8. The Democrat Party has always been, and is to this day, the party of slavery, segregation and second class citizenship.
Arguably one of the most popular Democrats, Bill Clinton, has always been a racist.

As is always the case.....everything I post is 100% accurate and correct.

Whelp --- apparently not. But it is usually fallacious, if not outright jest plain made up.

Let us proceed. Scalpel please.

1. Democrats demanded slavery and segregation. To fight them, Republicans formed their party to fight those iniquities.

Republicans formed their party largely on Abolition, yes. And yet they ran no candidate in the South before or during the Civil War. And when they struck on a successful candidate in 1860, the Democrat pulled exactly the same number of the South's 88 electoral votes as Lincoln did --- Zero. And Lincoln's name wasn't even on a ballot. Douglas, the Democrat, finished fourth winning a total of one, count 'em, one state. And between his defeat and his untimely death a few months later, he worked on Lincoln's behalf to preserve the Union and prevent the Confederacy from happening. Those who wanted slavery gave Douglas zero votes. They had already driven the Democratic convention out of the South.

2. Violence has always been the default of the Democrats, so they formed the KKK.

False. Already documented many times over. Those who actually did form the KKK (both of them) have been named in full. There is no history of political connections for any of them. Period.

The challenge to prove this wrong by showing any such evidence has been on the table in this thread twice, and on this site for literally years. No has yet met it. Which is understandable, since none exists.

3. These three were murdered by KKK Democrats.
murder_fbiposter_700.jpg__700x617_q85_crop_subsampling-2_upscale.jpg
4. The imbecile, Coyote, claimed it was Republicans who killed them.

And what I asked you was ---- "link?" And you ran away and tried to obscure the question out of existence with, apparently, appeal to emotion. YOU HAVE NO LINK. You pulled it out of your ass and are thus exposed as a fraud. Next...

5. The judge appointed by Democrat JFK gave them light sentences.
He was, of course, a Democrat, and KKK sympathizer.

Link?
Not a link to the Association Fallacy mind you --- a link to this judge being a "KKK sympathizer".

I imagine it's in the same place.

6. Even the Washington Post had to grudgingly admit this: "Although there is some historical link between Democrats and the KKK, ...."

Geographically, at first.

Then again there's this --- I'll see your historian Eric Foner and raise you another historian, Elaine Franz Parsons

>> "Lifting the Klan mask [19th Century version] revealed a chaotic multitude of antiblack vigilante groups, disgruntled poor white farmers, wartime guerrilla bands, displaced Democratic politicians, illegal whiskey distillers, coercive moral reformers, bored young men, sadists, rapists, white workmen fearful of black competition, employers trying to enforce labor discipline, common thieves, neighbors with decades-old grudges, and even a few freedmen and white Republicans who allied with Democratic whites or had criminal agendas of their own." --- Elaine Frantz Parsons PhD, "Ku Klux: The Birth of the Klan During Reconstruction" (UNC Press) p. 816) <<
--- which is FAR more in line with a self-styled social police force that the Klan WAS, rather than the political arm that appears in your self-drawn comic books, since it wasn't politics they were engaged in.

Moreover it's worth noting that Lester, Kennedy, Crowe, McCord, Jones and Reed were all twentysomethings when they formed the Klan, and likely had never been old enough to vote in the preceding elections anyway, not that anyone living in 1865 Tennessee, which was then outside the United States, could vote anyway.

Finally, there's this cute little turdlet (plop plop fizz fizz oh what a deceit it is...)

8. The Democrat Party has always been, and is to this day, the party of slavery, segregation and second class citizenship.
Arguably one of the most popular Democrats, Bill Clinton, has always been a racist.

You can "argue" all you like about the ability to read the mind of a party you don't know. I'm sure it will be entertaining. No doubt it includes yet another hackneyed photoshop of a fake campaign button with a Stars & Bars on it. I'm sure these are entertaining in Duh Bubble where reality has no meaning. But here outside of it, I'm afraid Duh Bubble where reality "doesn't count" -- has no meaning. And even if you could read that mind and prove your point valid ----- it would amount to yet another Composition Fallacy. "Person X is a racist; Person X is a Democrat; therefore all Democrats are racists". Funny thing about Composition Fallacies --- you want to count them when the compositor is a Clinton or a Wallace or a Thurmond --- yet when the compositor is a David Duke or a Stetson Kennedy or a D.C Stephenson or an Oscar Underwood --- suddenly the Composition Fallacy fall down go boom and exits the scene wid a quickness.

-- which says much about dishonest argument.

Back in the world of reality though, slavery on the other hand is a social construct --- not a political ideal. It has existed worldwide for thousands of years, on every continent save Antarctica, and in its transatlantic form since the 1530s when Spanish merchants brought about 150 Africans to what is now South Carolina. That's five hundred years ago.

But of course in 1530 it wasn't "South Carolina", because the United States didn't exist yet, and wouldn't exist for another two and a half centuries, and the Democratic party wouldn't be formed for three hundred years (1834*). Yet in the interim slavery -- the African imported version --- existed and flourished throughout the Americas. And while it did in this country, those "night patrols" formed to hunt down escaped slaves and operated for generations---- finally infiltrating the Klan starting in 1866 and giving an organizational structure to what had theretofore been a loose practice of ad hoc posses.

Which brings us full circle.

* and the guy that formed that Democratic Party, Marin van Buren by organizing a loose faction of Jacksonians, was himself an Abolitionist who later ran again for President on the Free Soil ticket.

You're a really slow learner, huh?

Mississippi burning was from the right? Those scumbag democrats were on the RIGHT?

Lie much?

Murder in Mississippi | American Experience - WGBH | PBS

Democrat handiwork.

It seems that two Democrat partisans used emoticons to disagree with the statement that the murders were Democrat handiwork.

Perhaps this will help:

1. Among those found guilty on October 20, 1967, were Klan Imperial Wizard Samuel Bowers, a Democrat KKKer

2 His grandfather was Congressman Eaton J. Bowers, a four-term Democrat Congressman from Mississippi's Gulf Coast.

Bowers explained the Democrat view of life:
Representative Bowers was an explicitly virulent opponent of equality for African Americans. In a speech to the U.S. House of Representatives in 1904, during his freshman term, he said: "Let me say to the gentleman from Massachusetts that it is evident that we have at least two theories as to how the negro should be dealt with. One may be termed his idea of the development by higher education, social equality, and the like, while the other might be dominated [sic] the Southern idea of the absolute segregation of the two races, the fitting the negro for that sphere and station which, based upon an experience born of more than a century's knowledge of him as a slave and nearly forty years' experience with him as a freedman, we believe he can acceptably and worthily fill, with absolute denial of social intercourse and with every restriction on his participation in political affairs and government that is permissible under the Federal Constitution... The restriction of suffrage was the wisest statesmanship ever exhibited in that proud Commonwealth... We have disfranchised not only the ignorant and vicious black but the ignorant and vicious white as well..."
Samuel Bowers - Wikipedia

3. The same political relationship, and view of race relations, will be found with the other KKK murderers.

4. One can sense the very same sentiment here:
Bill Clinton on Obama: 'A Few Years Ago, This Guy Would Have Been Carrying Our Bags'

" Dems are Nazi racists."

You betcha'!!!

In this classroom, we begin by explaining terms.

a. Liberal and Progressive and Democrat are used interchangeably in general parlance...And a 2012 Gallup poll found that 53 percent of Democrats and 39 percent of Americans more generally had a positive reaction to the word socialism.

Democrats, Republicans Diverge on Capitalism, Federal Gov't

Liberals are admitted socialists.

["Liberals care less - Pew divided their sample into different categories across the left-right political spectrum. When asked if respondents “often feel proud to be American,” a majority of strong liberals, 60 percent, said no.
The only group that solidly agreed with the statement was conservatives, ranging from 72 percent to 81 percent."
Stunner: 44 percent not proud to be American | WashingtonExaminer.com]

b. Even Marx admitted that true communism could not come about without revolution. So the statement -- "A communist is a socialist with a gun" can be accepted as a truism.
So....Liberals, Progressives, Socialists = Communists.

c. Nazis, falsely called Rightwing, are National Socialists....hence, Leftwing.
So....So....Liberals, Progressives, Communists, Socialists = Nazis.

d. Since Fascists and Nazis were allies, and basically the same....

...Liberals, Progressives, Communists, Socialists, Democrats.....and Fascists and Nazis...peas in the same pod.

Before Raygun and the parties becoming more ideoogical, both parties included conservatives and liberals (the good guys, dupe)- now all the conservatives, racists and RWNJs have gone GOP. The whole Dems started the KKK is irrelevant and moot, DUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. Change the channel, dupe. The whole "Liberal Fascism" movement is pure crap, born abortion of 2005 for GOP and RW dupes, unknown before that and in educated circles.

Well, Betty and Moronica, let's review the facts.

1. Democrats demanded slavery and segregation. To fight them, Republicans formed their party to fight those iniquities.

2. Violence has always been the default of the Democrats, so they formed the KKK.

3. These three were murdered by KKK Democrats.

What happened to lock her up, hater dupe? Thanks for the meltdown and 9/11...great job!

Mafia Boss Hillary Clinton belongs in prison, no question about it. Now because of the Comey testimony we KNOW with absolute EVIDENCE that there was collusion by the AG and OBAMA to obstruct justice to allow Don Hillary to avoid prosecution.

You are stupid as dirt.
because of the Comey testimony we KNOW with absolute EVIDENCE that there was collusion by the AG and OBAMA to obstruct justice to allow Don Hillary to avoid prosecution.
I'm pretty sure I watched that testimony. Where did his testimony say that?

I suspect you watched MSNBC to find out what you THOUGHT about the testimony..

{Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) said Sunday during an interview on CNN that the Senate Judiciary Committee should investigate former FBI Director James Comey’s allegation that former Attorney General Loretta Lynch directed him to downplay the bureau’s probe into former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server.}

Democratic senator calls for Lynch investigation after Comey testimony
because of the Comey testimony we KNOW with absolute EVIDENCE that there was collusion by the AG and OBAMA to obstruct justice to allow Don Hillary to avoid prosecution.
You still haven't answered my question. Are you saying that Lynch and the rest of the team agreed to call the investigation a "matter" rather than an "investigation" is evidence that she and OBAMA obstructed justice in the Hillary investigation?
I thought it smelled bad, too. Especially when you add on that meeting on the tarmac. Sounds to me like Lynch was less than impartial, but does that rise to the level of obstruction, and how do you get any kind of link to Obama? I don't blame them for investigating her. I just don't see that as any more serious than Trump's request to drop the Flynn "matter" and asking various agency heads to tell the public he wasn't under investigation.

What it was called was bad, but the open collusion with the Clinton campaign to obstruct justice by ordering Comey and the FBI to back off

{New details show that senior law-enforcement officials repeatedly voiced skepticism of the strength of the evidence in a bureau investigation of the Clinton Foundation, sought to condense what was at times a sprawling cross-country effort, and, according to some people familiar with the matter, told agents to limit their pursuit of the case. The probe of the foundation began more than a year ago to determine whether financial crimes or influence peddling occurred related to the charity. Some investigators grew frustrated, viewing FBI leadership as uninterested in probing the charity, these people said. Others involved disagreed sharply, defending FBI bosses and saying Mr. McCabe in particular was caught between an increasingly acrimonious fight for control between the Justice Department and FBI agents pursuing the Clinton Foundation case...}

Wow: FBI Agents Allege DOJ Ordered 'Stand Down' on Clinton Foundation Investigation

And of course the "matter" shit.

{Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) said Sunday during an interview on CNN that the Senate Judiciary Committee should investigate former FBI Director James Comey’s allegation that former Attorney General Loretta Lynch directed him to downplay the bureau’s probe into former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server.}

{New details show that senior law-enforcement officials repeatedly voiced skepticism of the strength of the evidence in a bureau investigation of the Clinton Foundation, sought to condense what was at times a sprawling cross-country effort, and, according to some people familiar with the matter, told agents to limit their pursuit of the case. The probe of the foundation began more than a year ago to determine whether financial crimes or influence peddling occurred related to the charity. Some investigators grew frustrated, viewing FBI leadership as uninterested in probing the charity, these people said. Others involved disagreed sharply, defending FBI bosses and saying Mr. McCabe in particular was caught between an increasingly acrimonious fight for control between the Justice Department and FBI agents pursuing the Clinton Foundation case...}

Wow: FBI Agents Allege DOJ Ordered 'Stand Down' on Clinton Foundation Investigation

From a leftist site;

NYT: Lynch didn't want Comey to notify Congress on Clinton emails

And of course the "matter" shit.

According to a bogus Russian leak that threw the election...The Hill is leftist lol...

The 'Russia leak' was a dossier developed by the Kremlin, handed to Christopher Steele, paid for by Hillary ally, Fusion, and designed to sink Donald Trump.

The Kremlin knew that they had a lifetime criminal and easily bribed candidate in Hillary Clinton.

Deceiving you, of course, is as difficult as getting wet in the shower.

I trust cnn, msnbc, cbs, nbc and abc far before I trust the fake news like Fox, talk radio and right wing blogs that are nothing more then a joke. How the hell can anyone compare the moderate media that has been around for 60 years to the joke that is right wing trash???

CNN Retracts Article on Alleged Russian Direct Investment Fund-Trump's Team Ties
25/06/2017

The story was reported by CNN investigative reporter Thomas Frank. CNN has retracted a bombshell story that linked a high-profile Trump ally to a Kremlin-connect bank. The incident reportedly occurred four days before last year's election. Scaramucci, 53, founded SkyBridge Capital, a global investment fund, in 2005 in New York City. But the story was pulled Friday night.

Pogo was totally correct.

You keep conflating ideology with parties.

Pogo is a leftist hack lacking in even a hint of integrity. His complete bullshit feeds your confirmation bias.

Now what did I write that you entirely ignored? Let's review:

{ Is slavery a social construct? Certainly it is; but does that preclude it from being a political issue? Given that the nation fought it's first civil war over the question (queue for you to pull out the old "the Civil War was fought over economics" line), that is a farcical proposition. Is the homosexuality that your party promotes a social construct, or a political issue? You of the fascist left have made a political issue out of a social question}

The social construct of slavery was so political that your party started a war, the most aggressive expression of politics is war. We see an exact parallel in the homosexuality that your party seeks to force on all. Your shameful and illegitimate promotes an ideology that includes slavery (BAKE THE CAKE CHRISTIAN) and the new tyranny of forcing homosexuality on children.

:lmao: PC is getting frantic .... and I'm out of popcorn...I hope she brought some more.

Lie much?

For today's lesson, a trip down Democrat Memory Lane...an anniversary of sorts:

Bill Clinton on Obama: 'A Few Years Ago, This Guy Would Have Been Carrying Our Bags'

Clinton opined this, wistfully, in 2008.
Brainwashed RW idiocy. Dems are Nazi racists. Gotcha. Just because 44% of the party are minorities at the convention. Only ignorant rubes who watch and read bs RW GOP propaganda know the truth...

Now...please, remind me.....
I can never remember....which of you is flotsam and which is jetsam?

Do you eat LSD flakes with crack sprinkled on them for breakfast each morning?

You simply have no grip on reality at all.

PC and I have both challenged to explain which aspects of conservatism are fascist, which you failed to do.

Which party agrees with fascism in promoting a centrally planned and managed economy? democrats
Which party agrees with fascism in releasing violent thugs to riot in hopes of intimidating the opposition? democrats
Which party agrees with fascism in crushing opposition speech? democrats
Which party agrees with fascism in denying civil rights and replacing them with privilege based on group affiliation such as black, hispanic, or gay? democrats

You are a fascist party, that is absolute and irrefutable fact.

You are also schizophrenic and have no grip on reality. You belong in a mental institution.

I've not noticed any terrorists being based in Venezuela. Would you kindly cite where Catholics, Protestants or Mormons have launched fatal terrorist attacks on other countries?

4. The imbecile, Coyote, claimed it was Republicans who killed them...post #1872

Post #1872: "Right wing handiwork. Time to own it."

Nothing about Republicans.

PC is just having fun yanking chains.

The post to which you were linked said, correctly, that Democrats killed the three civil rights workers.

You replied "Right wing handiwork. Time to own it."

'Republicans is understood from the colloquial (better look that up) 'Right wing.'

Your attempt, now, is to lie your way out of the false accusation.

Let's see if your learned your lesson: were the killers Democrats?

Where exactly do you get these specious premises?

In this case ---- the binary-bot idea that all people, everywhere, are by definition members of one of two political parties.... is Wal-Mart having a sale? Do I need to go ask them "could you please direct me to the False Dichotomy section?"

S M H

Parties are based on ideology.

Only on Planet Puerile.
The purpose of political parties is onefold --- to consolidate power. That's it, the end.
Oh they may start with an ideal, especially if that ideal or terminology is currently passionate, which guarantees them a membership. But as soon as that step is taken they need more members, because see reason number one, and the goal becomes self-perpetuation. And when the current passions change, that party must change with them in order TO self-perpetuate. It's either that, or go out of business.

The Democratic and Republican parties both morphed with the political winds particularly at the turn of the 19th>20th century. The latter took on the interests of the wealthy and corporations (e.g. McKinley) and the former absorbed the Populists (e.g. W.J. Bryan). Much like choosing sides in a pickup baseball game. And they chose said sides for --- again --- self-perpetuation. Ideology takes a back seat in that process.

For a previously cited example -- Zell Miller is a Democrat to this day, and always will be. For a couple more, Frank Rizzo and Ray Nagin both ran as Democrats, for the sole purpose of getting elected. They at least understood what the function of a political party IS. Bernie Sanders was a Democrat for the 8 months he ran a campaign. Arlen Specter was a Democrat, then a Republican, then a Democrat again. David Duke, Strom Thurmond, Jesse Helms, Richard Shelby, Sonny Perdue and Trent Lott all used to be Democrats when it was expedient. When that expedience shifted, they shifted with it.

Bottom line Princess Naïve --- people join (or switch) political parties for all kinds of reasons aside from ideologies.

Or.....explain why arguably one of the most popular Democrats....Bill Clinton....has always been a racist.

Or.... explain why you stopped beating your wife.

Ever heard of the IRA?

A civil war. When did the IRA bring weapons and kill 49 in a gay nightclub in Orlando?

Try being realistic rather than a spoiled child. It would be a unique experience for you.

Actually the last time Manchester was bombed prior to the recent event --- that was the IRA. And a lot of others. First time I went to England I immediately noticed the place was on terror alert, looking for possible bombs. Same group.

You can characterize it as 'civil war' if you like; your question was, and I quote, "Would you kindly cite where Catholics, Protestants or Mormons have launched fatal terrorist attacks on other countries?". So there you are.

And yet --- while all that was going on I never heard anybody, even in England where bombs were going off, say something like "nuke the Vatican". And no wag came up with a term like "radical Catholic terrorism". Even when Eric Rudolph did it.

Wonder why. Gee Wally, that sure is a stumper.

Well, it's an asinine question. The Philippines is predominantly Catholic. Its current president is a terrorist.

So, are you a white male? I bet you won't answer.

Quit projecting. You're actually inventing your own definition of fascism and then claiming if fits Democrats because you made it up to fit Democrats. There really are characteristics of fascism, some of which are in line with the Democrat party and some in line with the Republican party and some not in line with either.

  1. Powerful and Continuing Nationalism
Fascist regimes tend to make constant use of patriotic mottos, slogans, symbols, songs, and other paraphernalia. Flags are seen everywhere, as are flag symbols on clothing and in public displays.

  2. Disdain for the Recognition of Human Rights
Because of fear of enemies and the need for security, the people in fascist regimes are persuaded that human rights can be ignored in certain cases because of "need." The people tend to look the other way or even approve of torture, summary executions, assassinations, long incarcerations of prisoners, etc.

  3. Identification of Enemies/Scapegoats as a Unifying Cause
The people are rallied into a unifying patriotic frenzy over the need to eliminate a perceived common threat or foe: racial , ethnic or religious minorities; liberals; communists; socialists, terrorists, etc.

  4. Supremacy of the Military
Even when there are widespread domestic problems, the military is given a disproportionate amount of government funding, and the domestic agenda is neglected. Soldiers and military service are glamorized.

  5. Rampant Sexism
The governments of fascist nations tend to be almost exclusively male-dominated. Under fascist regimes, traditional gender roles are made more rigid. Opposition to abortion is high, as is homophobia and anti-gay legislation and national policy.

  6. Controlled Mass Media
Sometimes to media is directly controlled by the government, but in other cases, the media is indirectly controlled by government regulation, or sympathetic media spokespeople and executives. Censorship, especially in war time, is very common.

  7. Obsession with National Security
Fear is used as a motivational tool by the government over the masses.

  8. Religion and Government are Intertwined
Governments in fascist nations tend to use the most common religion in the nation as a tool to manipulate public opinion. Religious rhetoric and terminology is common from government leaders, even when the major tenets of the religion are diametrically opposed to the government's policies or actions.

  9. Corporate Power is Protected
The industrial and business aristocracy of a fascist nation often are the ones who put the government leaders into power, creating a mutually beneficial business/government relationship and power elite.

  10. Labor Power is Suppressed
Because the organizing power of labor is the only real threat to a fascist government, labor unions are either eliminated entirely, or are severely suppressed .

  11. Disdain for Intellectuals and the Arts
Fascist nations tend to promote and tolerate open hostility to higher education, and academia. It is not uncommon for professors and other academics to be censored or even arrested. Free expression in the arts is openly attacked, and governments often refuse to fund the arts.

  12. Obsession with Crime and Punishment
Under fascist regimes, the police are given almost limitless power to enforce laws. The people are often willing to overlook police abuses and even forego civil liberties in the name of patriotism. There is often a national police force with virtually unlimited power in fascist nations.

  13. Rampant Cronyism and Corruption
Fascist regimes almost always are governed by groups of friends and associates who appoint each other to government positions and use governmental power and authority to protect their friends from accountability. It is not uncommon in fascist regimes for national resources and even treasures to be appropriated or even outright stolen by government leaders.

  14. Fraudulent Elections
Sometimes elections in fascist nations are a complete sham. Other times elections are manipulated by smear campaigns against or even assassination of opposition candidates, use of legislation to control voting numbers or political district boundaries, and manipulation of the media. Fascist nations also typically use their judiciaries to manipulate or control elections.

Whelp --- apparently not. But it is usually fallacious, if not outright jest plain made up.

Brainwashed RW idiocy. Dems are Nazi racists. Gotcha. Just because 44% of the party are minorities at the convention. Only ignorant rubes who watch and read bs RW GOP propaganda know the truth...

4. The imbecile, Coyote, claimed it was Republicans who killed them...post #1872

Now...please, remind me.....
I can never remember....which of you is flotsam and which is jetsam?

LOL, says the little Cyber Fascist.[/QUOeing racist, white, nationalist, authoritarian, and full of BS propaganda, fascists
