My son left that area because of the liberal infestation, lousy traffic, and sky-high property taxes. He now lives in an income tax free state where a Republican governor just elected and a flourishing economy.

The Democrats (Socialists) come to power and presto, the minimum wage is now $15.00 per hour. The young chap that was hired two weeks ago, as you were, knowing nothing, was earning $7.50 per hour. Now today, that young chap is being paid $15.00 per hour, just like you.

Now, are you happy to have the novice, with a few weeks of experience, join you at $15.00 per hour? Or are you entitled to have your wages doubled as well? Since you are now earning $30.00 per hour, what is done about the salary of your supervisor who was earning $30.00 until today?

So, a year from now, those earning the minimum wage of $15.00 are now below the poverty level and are being given welfare payments, food stamps, and housing subsidies.

Your question that "nobody can answer" has been answered for generations. When minimum wages increase, there is upward pressure to increase other low skilled wages as well
