Human extinction movement

Where do y'all get this kind of shit? Where do you find it? Do you go looking for it, or does it get sent to you by other crazy people?

I mean, good Lord, this site is just one loony conspiracy theory and idiotic end of the world scenario after another.

Conspiracy theory? I'm just trying to find out the workings of the culture of death known as the left wing. Anything that curbs reproduction and life is praised by the left. Anything that curbs or dampens the economy is embraced. Fossil fuels are all evil etc.

Deep down a lefty like you thinks that the government needs to save us all from ourselves. Global warming, over population, limited natural resources etc. Just admit it.

You got it all wrong. If they wanted to die they would kill themselves. No, instead they wish to stop others from living, or if they do live, relegate their existence to servitude to their master plan for humanity.

(My bold)

No, I don't think there is a master plan on the Left. There may be one for the US Far Right - if it's based on one of the versions of the Bible; but the Left in the US comes from several different strands. So there are forms of Socialism, Marxism, Communism, Leninism, Christian Democrats, Mao Zedong brand of Communism, Trotskyites, Enlightenment & so on.

Again, you're thinking Earth First or one of the more extreme ecologically minded groups ...

Did I ever say that there was a master plan? All I'm saying is that the core beliefs of the left drive them all to one end, and that is collectivism. In turn, the collectivism will centralize world wide power in order to curb the destructive choices of individuals who harm the environment. Of course, you believe that the greatest threat to the environment is over population in the form of carbon emissions, a reduction of natural finite resources, and the capitalism that fuels overpopulation. Government is our only hope according to people like you, just admit it.

A sustainable population in an environment that is clean and healthy, both for us and the other creatures that inhabit this small planet is a worthy goal to aspire to. That certain people with mental problems find the idea repulsive speaks for itself.

It is those who favor endless human population growth that condemn humanity to ever increasing suffering.

The human race will go extinct. It's just a matter of time.

So relax and live while you can.

Mere reductionism. If we can get to clean energy - fusion or transmitted solar or something else - then we won't have natural resource constraints. We'll be able to mine asteroids, comets, moons, planets, the Asteroid Belt, right out to the limits of C speed. With cheap enough energy, we could even transmute elements to get whatever we wanted.

There may be collectivism - in the sense that we believe that once enough people see the same problem & the most desirable solution, then we can act in concert. But that is not true across the board of problems, & I don't think anyone is aiming for 100% buyin. In politics in the US, you only need 50%-plus of the actual voters - which is a far smaller number than the number of people elegible to vote. I think that education & life experience are on our side - witness the total silence/neglect of the W years @ the last CPAC meeting ...

I have always loved George Carlin's take on it. A million years from now the Earth will be fine. We may be fucked, but the Earth will be fine.

A reduction in population growth would be beneficial for humans in the long run though. It's not liberalism. It's called math.

See, now this thread is why no-one listens to the far-right wingers, except other far-right wingers.

Crazy ass-hats.

In other words, you want a centralized global government forcing people to "behave".
