Hunter Biden's Lawyers Demand DOJ To Investigate Trump Allies Over Laptop

WASHINGTON (AP) — A lawyer for President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter, has asked the Justice Department to investigate close allies of former President Donald Trump and others who he says accessed and disseminated personal data from a laptop that was dropped off at a Delaware computer repair shop in 2019.

In a separate letter, Biden’s attorneys have also asked Fox News host Tucker Carlson to retract and apologize for what they say are false and defamatory claims made repeatedly about him on-air, including implying without evidence that he had unauthorized access to classified documents found at his father’s home.

Good to see Hunter fighting back. What do you think?
Yes, commie America haters having each others backs. Dimmer ilk never ceases to amaze.

At that point it was the repair shop owner’s property, not Crackheads.

He could do whatever the hell he wanted with it.

Applicable law disagrees.

hahah when hunter dropped those pics off to a third party..he had not expectation to privacy

I will thoroughly enjoy watching the leftists try to defend this giant POS for the next two years.

Is that a fact? So if I drop my laptop of to a computer repair shop I can't reasonably expect him to keep my dick a private matter? I see... Well it's a novel take on privacy I would say.

no you can’t. take the dick pic off first

on what planet do you think it’s reasonable to expect privacy when you are handing stuff out to other people?

It is amazing seeing the demented LEFT twist into pretzels denying any wrong doings of the Biden crime family and the lap top from hell.
Amazingly PATHETIC that is!

I would read the disclaimer they make you sign if I were you.

In a world were when I pay for a service I expect the person to provide that service without him causing me harm.

Lol you think there is a disclaimer that allows one person to use private information from another person including nude photographs when repairing a laptop? To quote struth "in what world do you think you live"

you can sue him…but when you turn over evidence of a potential crime to someone…don’t be surprised they show law enforcement

the fact you would even think differently is mind blowing

there is no need for a disclaimer. you have no expectation to privacy once yoj turn over those photos to a third party

Good luck with that one. The contract says after 60 days it is unclaimed property…. meaning the company (store) can do anything it wants. Much of the data protection and data loss prevention statutes of third parties are limited to personal data captured and stored within a third party’s systems.

I say bring the lawsuit on. It should be fun. Trump had more on Biden and the Democrats spying on him as a Presidential candidate and private citizen in 2016 and that went nowhere.
Here's what you left out of the "After 60 days you lose it" comment.
But by his own account, Mac Isaac said he went through files on Hunter Biden’s laptop the day after it was dropped off. In his book, Mac Isaac said the day after Hunter Biden dropped off the laptop, he noticed a file titled “income.pdf” in the hard drive, which apparently tracked Biden’s finances.

Ah "the strawman". When you can't argue the point. Misrepresent the position of the person you are talking to, and argue against that.

I haven't said anything about turning over evidence of a crime as being wrong. Hell I'm not interested in defending Hunter Biden. Although nothing I've seen leaked from that laptop qualifies as evidence to a crime. At least not without a hell of a lot of corroboration from other sources.

My argument is simply that information was leaked from that laptop, specifically nude photographs of which the distributing without explicit consent is a crime. This applies to Hunter Biden, to you, to me, to everybody. You on the other hand are claiming this is not the case.

Of course you do. If I upload my pictures to a cloud that information remains private unless specifically stated otherwise.

I'll put it like this. You usually can't predict when a laptop will break. In your version of the world you can't get this laptop repaired if it has nude pictures on it because the person that repairs it in your version can distribute those pictures freely.

i’ve repeatedly said it’s not a crime because there is no reasonable expectation of privacy when you turn those nude photos over to a third party.

had this guy hacked his computer that’s a different story…but he literally handed him the photos.

what happened in this case was the repairman was doing his job, and saw what he believed was/is evidence of potential crimes and handed it over to law enforcement…that’s perfectly legal and something we want to happen

hunter, you and the demafascist propaganda nonsense is mere deflection from the facts

And you've been repeatedly wrong. Third parties do not automatically get permission to publish nude pictures. If that would be the case victims of revenge porn would have no legal recourse. This is manifestly not the case.

He didn't just turn it over to law enforcement. He turned them over to Gulliani who IS NOT law enforcement.

I'm perfectly willing to accept that the information wasn't property of Biden anymore because of some disclaimer.

But the MOMENT nude pictures of him appear the person distributing them is breaking the law. It is the whole point of that specific law. That nude pictures can not be published for any reason without consent.

haha this wasn’t revenage porn. i am completely right. hunter wasn’t giving these photos to a girlfriend, who later published them…he gave them to a stranger at a shop.
