It may seem ok to call someone a natural born citizen if their american mother is VACATIONING in a foreign country when she births you. But ted's mom had been LIVING in canada for several years before he was born.. He's a citizen of american but not an NBC.

To be an NBC you most be born on american soil to an american mother..

Look up the definition of natural born citizen as it was under British Common Law at the time that the constitution was written here in the United States. This horse has been beaten to death.

There are only two possibilities. Cruz is either a natural born citizen or a naturalized citizen, and he is not the latter because he never had a green card or became a citizen of the US except at birth, which he was.

His mother was a US citizen at the time of his birth.

Please stop spreading misinformation.

shootspeeders does not understand what natural born citizen means.

Cruz is eligible to run for president.

.

Hey stupid. Nobody knows what it means. I gave what i think is a reasonable definition and i wish congress would pass a law saying the same. That's the way ambiguities should be settled - don't let the unelected supreme court decide this.

What ambiguity? George Romney, John McCain, Barak Obama, and Ted Cruz were or are eligible to run for office. You are just making yourself look silly.

No stupid - there are three possibilities. Natural born citizen, naturalized citizen, and someone born in a foreign country to an american mother. THINK

Thank you for exposing your lack of understanding on this issue. Move along.

HAHAHA. You ignorant jackass. George Romney never was chosen by either party to be their presidential nominee. Never really came close. If he had been chosen there would have been controversey since he was not born on american soil. McCain was born on an american military base and supposedly obama was born in hawaii. So of the 3, only romney was similar to cruz and he never got the nomination.

Do some research next time.

No, it would not have been controversial.

You are wrong on this, as you are about so much else.

Move along, nothing here to see.

Who cares what you say.
His mom was a US citizen, making him a citizen. His dad was a naturalized citizen, making him more of an American than Obama. Obama's dad was an anti-american Muslim who wanted to see this nation eliminated as a world power and influence...which his son has done his best to make happen.

Well, for once you are partially right instead of entirely wrong.

Whoever is doing this should stop. You are deliberately lying and lying will get you into hell.

Romney would be ineligible to be vice president because he was not eligible to be president using your ignorant and convoluted logic.

For those who wanted to see Cruz's mothers birth cert....now let's see everyone Else's! LOLOL!

  • Exclusive: Birth Certificate for Ted Cruz’s Mother
    Breitbart ^ | 1/8/166 | Joel B. Pollak
Eleanor Darragh, mother of Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) 97% , was born in Delaware on Nov. 23, 1934, establishing her citizenship by birth-and, according to U.S. law, that of her son, even though he was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, on Dec. 22, 1970. The Cruz for President campaign provided Breitbart News exclusively with the birth certificate.
