If God is all powerful...

But if god created it all, why did he create imperfect humans? And you never answered why god made cancer, retardation...? Why didn't it give us a free will that wasn't fucked up?

But I did answer. We fucked it all up. Our scientifically engineered society twisted it all to shit--including disease, defect, etc. We fucked up free will. God didn't. Now if we could only swallow that ultimate pill of shit responsibility for our own actions. Actions resulting in the consequences you question.
No, but why did god make it so we could fuck everything up?

Free will

Personal responsibility for choice is as impossible to accept as the consequence. If a jailor chains you to a wall can you steal an ear of corn from the fields outside the prison wall? Say the jailor sets you free. First thing you steal some corn and consequences ensue. The farmer can't meet his tax to the dickhead palatine so his family is put to death. Is the Jailor responsible by proxy of setting you free for your crimes against self or others?

Perhaps we'd all be happier if God had kept us chained.
God could have given us free will without all the fucked up stuff. He chose not to. Why?

Wouldn't be free will then, would it? It'd be conditional freedom.
It would be free of bullshit, the ultimate freedom. So why wouldn't god give that to us?

Should a God conform to your parameters of his form? Why would he? Could making God in your own image have disappointed you?

Best guess? God created it all. All of it was good. Perhaps it was all even perfect. Then the rest of everything happened. What I'm talking about is personal responsibility both on an individual and species level. Where I'm going with this is God made things--us included--then we messed it up/are still messing it up. In my opinion we need to take responsibility for most all the bad things you mention, not blame them on God. That's the biggest cop-out of all time. We need to take responsibility for misuse of free will, much the same way society holds us to standards defined by laws of other men.

It's all so constraining isn't it? This belief in God.

As I said earlier. Some sort of what we would refer to as "politics" which we can not comprehend. Same as " blood sacrifices" in the days of old. There is a reason for everything. Why ? No idea.

Maybe because the exercise of free will comes with consequences, both positive and negative. Your problem is that you want all the good stuff without the bad. Sorry, doesn't work that way.
I know it doesn't, my question is why did god make cancer and deformed babies? For what purpose?

Don't know, he hasn't told us yet but my guess is that he allows challenges to exist that require our compassion and attention. So, you want a world with no problems? Sorry, doesn't work that way. Maybe the better question is why hasn't humanity found cures yet for those afflictions and so many others? Is it his fault or ours that we're wasting so much time and money and blood on wars and such instead of what really is important?

Why would God make anyone's body healthy and without defect?

For what purpose?

...Why does it makes babies with cancer, or retarded, or deformed, or in pain, or even with all of that together? Is god not capable of a perfect creation? Is it a punishment of some sort?

I'll make it simple for you because that seems to be the limit of your intellect, according to the Christian tradition as i understand it, I am not a believer so I may be in error, but the basic tenets are man lives his life and at the end of it God judges based on how that life was led. Faith, is the realm of God. Faith is a spiritual realm. The Earth, on the other hand, is a TEMPORAL realm. That means it exists and mankind interacts within it.

Religious faith merely is interested in how you live the life that you were given. Your infantile nonsense, is just that. Infantile. When you get an education and grow up feel free to come back when you have an observation, or an argument that is beyond the 2nd grade level.

Taz, I have family members dying as we speak from Cancer, I've lost a child, I've seen wonderful hard working co workers die of lung cancer and other illnesses and I've seen friends succumb to tragedies......and I say and pray to God, why, why why and he answers why not....We, all of us are here for such a short period of time and in that time, we must always adhere and remember that the works we put down, all is for the glory of being with our Lord and Savor some day.....this life is not eternal, but the after life is. Babies go to heaven, good people will go to heaven....grieve and then give praise...for the arms of Jesus is magnificent.
He only helps those that help themselves. Faith is the most powerful weapon mankind can own.
Too many distractions in this world of today...
The Withered Fig Tree
…21Peter remembered it and said, “Look, Rabbi! The fig tree You cursed has withered.” 22“Have faith in God, Jesus said to them. 23“Truly I tell you that if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and has no doubt in his heart but believes that it will happen, it will be done for him.…
If faith is the most powerful weapon...then why didn't we use it to end world war 2? Why did it take scientific enlightenment to drag us all (especially the Christians) out of the dark ages of not just technology, but also morality?

I reject your claim.

Well. You didn't " win" WW2, or any other war for that matter. Tomorrow is a celebration that neglects to mention 1913 and Nixons taking of the so-called " gold standard". Hitler killed himself due to "the Russians are coming" , ending that particular false flag and the biggest lie ever created that came to full cycle in 1948-49 ,depending on whom you consult with.

You're an idiot who missed the point. Please go away.

God doesn't "make babies". You do. He also doesn't control this shithole. Satan does
Remember the part in that old book where He offered Yeshua all of the kingdoms of the earth ? Yeshu told hin to fuck off and refused but many, like your so-called founders, gladly accepted the one nation under the god of this earth. Get it ?

You've obviously never played a video game
Using the 'god mode' is a cheat. It's no fun playing if you have to cheat.

Christians are not judged (Jn 5:24; Rm 8:1); they are already citizens of the kingdom.

Faith is communion with God. The sin of the former covenant was idolatry. Faith in man-made gods and the secret arts, the bane of the"chosen people," is still the faith of the dogs and idolators outside the gates of the kingdom.

That's the gist of the Bible. God walks with man on the earth again. Through the church, He is glorified.

Nothing in the Scriptures says that the little blue ball floating in space is perfection. God does not promise a world without famine, war, and disease; only a garden of Eden, or a paradise, as Jesus and John the Divine call it, where God dwells with man (Rv 21:3).

Groovy. God's purpose in creating a cancer-free body is to make it cancer free.

If they are not religious are they still allowed in? If a person born a Christian never recognizes God, or Jesus, are they still allowed in to Heaven no matter what?
