Look: Things are going to get even worse, and we're not prepared for them. At least under the last President, we were energy-dominant. We now have a President who's draining our strategic oil reserves by auctioning them off to other countries, even to China for God's sake. We're having to beg Saudi Arabia and Venezuela to increase their oil production, rather than taking the brakes off our own. That is not what I'd call "being prepared for future things", because we're in a vary dangerous position right now.
