Mueller certainly made the claim that the hackers were in Russia, not Arizona where the attack came from, but there has never been any proof.
It is not hard to prevent any back tracking.
I find it impossible to believe anyone who claims they know for sure who did it.
Its not hard.
While packets are supposed to have source and destination addresses, any computer can be used anywhere like a set of waldos, and there is no way to trace it back because the last thing the hacker can do is just erase their bot executable.
And in fact there are lots of services that sell the use of of their machines as impenetrable security.
BitTor is one of many.
All you need to do is use a proxy server.
So anyone claiming they can tell for sure, likely are just lying.

And I have no snowflakiness about guns at all.
We own 38 acres in the middle of Nowhere, Arkansas where calling 911 may save you from a snakebite but not a wolf or pack of coyotes ( or an armed intruder). If someone robbed a bank and gave you money from that robbery, even though you are not a bank robber, you benefited from the crime.

If a cop then starts to investigate the robbery, and you try to get him fired, you are guilty of obstruction of justice.

Putin rigged the election in Trump's favor. Trump attempted to obstruct Mueller from investigating that crime. Therefore, he is guilty of obstruction of justice.
