We need productive government.

A government more worried about decaying roads and bridges and less worried about who Monkeys fuck and what Monkeys smoke.

A government enforcing simple rules and collecting fair and simple taxes to take on projects like education, where the economy of scale makes sense, and the need for low cost prevails above all else, including profits.

Public funds are also required for Monkey business that's interesting or in the public interest, but not yet profitable enough to interest the private sector.

Government R&D in projects like NASA, that are too big to interest the private sector, is how Monkeys get their ticket to the stars punched.

A better idea is to cut up your credit cards. Last time I checked credit card companies don't go around putting guns to peoples' heads and force them to use credit cards. Governments, on the other hand do nothing but put guns to heads.
