I can hunt or fish on federal land without paying anything. I also pay taxes so in theory, I own that federal land.

I see no problem with him grazing his cattle on it, because it wasn't being used for anything else. Beside I like beef.

Yup...but...you have to pay for a license right? And there are limits to what you can catch and when? Kind of needed in order to keep it sustainable and not overly damage the environment and the fees pay for that management.

Cattle can and do create a lot of damage if not well managed and Bundy owes over a million in grazing fees.

Had the evidence been provided in a timely manner, Navarro said, defense attorneys would have asked different questions of the jury, selected jurors differently and made stronger arguments during their opening statements.


Navarro said she wanted to be clear that her order did not mean that the evidence was in fact exculpatory or that the defendants were not guilty.


“That’s not my technical position, and it’s not a factual decision to be made by this court,” she said. “The defense has a right to information so it can provide it to the jury so the jury can decide.”​

In other words it says nothing about whether or not he's guilty but that the prosecuters willfully withheld evidence that might have helped the defense and that is a serious ethical breech. They deserved to be tossed out on their butts for that.
