Every culture imaginable is within our borders.

I'll admit that religion is bad but culture? Think.

My experience is that people of different races can live together in peace, but people of different cultures can't.

What causes white flight? Is it people that move in with different color skin, or people that move in with a different culture?

Until just recently I had some Orthodox Jews as neighbors. The neighbor hood ONE over is heavily dominated by jews with a number of orthodox ones.

I did not have very much trouble living with them. I never hear complaints from other gentiles about living with them. I haven't heard any complaints from them about living with us.

No all cultures are equal.

Whites can live with just about any other race of people. In most cases, those people assimilate into the white community and cause no disruption. Blacks on the other hand have no desire to do that. They believe they have every right to be in your neighborhood and bring their ghetto ways with them, and like Mathew said, you just have to tolerate it.

Years ago I had a friend that hit the lottery. He was living with his parents at the time, and of course, decided to get his own house. He asked me for suggestions as to where he should move, and I told him. It was the next step up from our area.

So he and his real estate agent checked out houses in that suburb, but he was silent as to how he could afford such houses paying cash. She got suspicious and of course, wanted to make as much commission as possible, so she took him to an upper-class area to show him houses there.

He loved the houses, loved the land, but he told me he felt uncomfortable. He had long hair, tee shirt, jeans, and said when he got out of the agents car, it was like everybody quit talking and stared at him.

He said the neighbors walked their children in dress shirt and pants. The neighborhood was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. He just couldn't picture himself living there with his Harley, his race car, his guitar and amplifier. He decided against that area because HE didn't want to disrupt their way of life. And these people were the same color as him, and I'm sure some from his ethnic background. He felt just because he could afford to live there doesn't mean he should.

My Polish American father grew up in Portchester, New York, in an apartment without running water, central heating., A/C, telephone, TV, but those apartments were mostly Italian, and Polish, and crime was low, the apartments turned section 8 in the 1970's, they improved the living standards, Blacks moved in, and my Polish American grandmother was scared to sleep at night because of gun shots, while my Polish American uncle a Vietnam veteran was jumped by a group of Blacks who stole his leather jacket, and wallet.
