To protect the electrical grid from EMP, it is reported to cost LESS than 35 billion. (at least it was 3 to 5 years ago) Why didn't Obama do it? He had the money free to do it, and the electrical companies could have passed on the cost to consumers if he so wished!

If his wonderful and fantastic new health care plan is cheaper and insures more people...he will get support.

Sorry Lone, it is true about EMPs. Do some research. It is not the blast that kills you, it is the fact that the electrical grid would be out close to a year before most of it could be bought back online. Nothing would work, including the natural gas delivery system.
