Is Biden going to do ANYTHING to lower gas prices since there is an upcoming election?

Not totally, no.

What should Biden do to lower gas prices?
For starters, stop canceling leases. Yes, we are at record production but the Global Market can see that the US is limiting its production potential with increased regulations, shutting down infrastructure, and prohibiting drilling… a combination of these moves will lower gas prices.

That would not lower gas or oil prices. Who fed you that myth?

that the US is limiting its production potential with increased regulations, shutting down infrastructure, and prohibiting drilling
Another silly myth. US oil producers are limiting their own production as the market dictates.

Who feeds you this nonsense?

Asshole Biden just got punched in the face by a Federal judge who ruled Biden's attempt to end run around the very bill he signed into law and F up the Gulf of Mexico lease sale by weaponizing the endangered species act. He got told to piss off home with that shit.

Biden removed the more promising 6 million acres of leases. Then imposed ridiculous travel restrictions on the rest of the gulf making it super expensive to do any drilling. 10mph speed limit. WTF? Can't travel at night. WTF?

These anti oil climate change bastards got bitch slapped by the court.

US to cancel Alaska oil, gas leases issued under Trump

Its Very Clear where Biden stands on oil. If he can even remember what day it is now.
I suppose it was a bad day for you went he approved the Willow project in Alaska.

Nope. Im for drill baby drill. He canceled the other. Less oil. Period.

Same BS happened under Obama Had to sue to drill. Hell Obama got held in Contempt of court over it back then.

Then same as now lie about it. Look here oil drilled. Forgetting they were sued to allow it.

They are rising. because of global supply & demand.
If Biden would have kept the US energy independent. our gas price would be $2.30 instead of $6
What part of oil is a lobal commodity is too hard to understand?

Democrats LIE and subvert democracy, weaseling out of legislation they vote for and sign into law. LONG history of this. This is why you CAN'T negotiate with Democrats, they have all manner of schemes to weasel out of their compromises. This action by Biden is a prime example.

Biden got his inflation reduction act passed, then tried to screw Republicans out of the concessions he agreed to, classic.

Can you provide empirical evidence that oil companies are holding back? If you have any modicum of macroeconomics and put your political bias aside, you will see that increased government regulation impacts a market; whether you love or hate egregious government regulation. Show me an industry where the government has substantial regulation in comparison to competing companies and how prices are at least the same level in an less regulated environment??

He's probably just going to dump more tax dollars into propaganda to convince people that the Republicans are causing inflation..

Of course I can. 9000 permits sitting on selves, collecting dust. Go check.

Oil producers rarely produce at 100% capacity. It becomes less profitable.
What is your source? Where are the permits for? That is, what region? Does the region have oil? What is the cost to drill and produce there?

You should be interested…. For all you know, those permits are just paper with access to less than optimal for drilling and production. Maybe there are 90,000 permits?
For all you know

Permits aside, go read up on why oil producers rarely , if ever, produce at full capacity.
