Is Obama a liar?

How truly bizarre? So a magna cum laud from Harvard Law school is supposed to be so perfect, that even when tired, they cannot make a mistake? .

Oh, he was tired...of course...

:lmao:

Soooo...

When he said "corpsman" he misspoke. When he "visited 57 states" he was tired. When he said "if you like your insurance you can keep it, period" he didn't lie, because there is "if" that never was. Those are just three examples from this thread.

It's funny that liberals always have have some excuse for his stupidity.

Reagan said it the best: "It isn't so much that liberals are ignorant. It's just that they know so many things that aren't so."

There is not a smidgen of confusion about this. Obama lied and lied again and repeatedly stated: "If you like your current plan you can keep it."

There are millions across this country that are getting the same letters. Now they are being forced into more expensive policies to meet the deductible requirements of Obamacare.

Dayam, even with counting on your fingers, you still can't get it right?? LMAO!

Yup. That's what he said followed by "I haven't been to Alaska or Hawaii yet.

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EpGH02DtIws]Obama Claims He's Visited 57 States - YouTube[/ame]

So, according to him, are there 57, 58 or 59 states?
What the hell?? You need help adding 57 + 1 + 2????

Geez Louise!

You really are old and stupid. Don't ever deny that again.

By the way, before you embarrass yourself any further, the answer you can't seem to calculate is ..... 60. Obama's gaffe insinuated there are 60 U.S. states.

OK You could read it that way. So suppose you tell me. How many states ARE there? Are there 57? OOOPS 1 more. 58. He hasn't been to Alaska or Hawaii? 58? Crap! There's the one he hasn't gotten to yet.Is it Alaska, Hawaii, or another state we didn't have until the Messiah Miraculously created it? 59 for sure. Maybe 60.

This is his bill so don't give me that he didn't know bs.

Wake the fuck up America. Vote Republican or independent and insist that this disaster gets overturned.

And yes fake Jake I know it's the law of the land FOR NOW

The only thing obvious is your ignorance of the law.

If you like your current insurance, you may keep it, the president was correct and he wasn’t ‘lying.’

If the insurance you have fails to meet the coverage requirement mandated by the ACA, you may be subject to the same fee charged to those without insurance at all:

Health plans that don't meet minimum essential coverage don't qualify as coverage in 2014. If you have only these types of coverage, you may have to pay the fee.

Of course, it’s ignorant rightwing idiocy to clam that the government can ‘force’ a private citizen to cancel a policy he has with a private insurance company; or it’s willful ignorance and partisan demagoguery on the part of conservatives who know this, but lie about it for some perceived political gain anyway.

So one is at liberty to keep his current policy, paying both its premium and the possible fee, if that’s his decision.

And you call me old and stupid, all the while applauding ACA as not a failure, excusing the 57, 58, 59 or 60 states blunder and denying that he LIED when he said we could keep our plans. Does anyone else here see where that makes ME stupid?

I find it hard to believe that you aren't aware what an ass you are making of yourself. Even obama and his minions aren't trying to sell that line. You're so committed to being an obama nuthugger that you are willing to sacrifice any self-respect you might have left at this point.

My GOD, man! How fucking mendacious can you be? Is there no limits to the hoops you will jump through to defend this liar?
And you are WRONG. Insurance companies will no longer be offering non compliant plans. Even if they were, "You can keep your plan, period" implies no penalties for keeping a plan you like.

President Barack Obama is a liar. Not a person who “misspoke,” as the New York Times editorial board ridiculously asserted last Sunday. His promise that if Americans liked their healthcare plan they could keep it — made on at least 23 separate, videotaped occasions — was not the ”half true” statement the equally corrupt politifact.com website contended it was. Nor did the president make a ”campaign pledge which did not hold up to the realities of governing,” as shameless TV host Bill Maher declared, before further noting it was a “moral complexity” he is “okay with ’cause I’m not twelve.” It was a bald-faced lie. And on at least one occasion in June of 2009, it included a completely unambiguous qualifier: “if you like your health-care plan, you will be able to keep your health-care plan, period.” (Italics mine). Yet Monday, in an Orwellian moment that provided the public with an unprecedented look at the president’s utter lack of credibility, Obama insisted he never made any such promises.

“What we said was you could keep it if it hasn’t changed since the law was passed,” Obama declared at the St. Regis hotel, in a room containing around 200 of his staunchest Organizing for Action (OFA) supporters. He then went on defending the indefensible. “If we had allowed these old plans [to continue]… then we would have broken an even more important promise–making sure that Americans gain access to health care that doesn’t leave them one illness away from financial ruin,” he remarked. “So the bottom line is, is that we are making the insurance market better for everybody.”

Note the use of the word “we.” “We” didn’t make the same promise to the American people over and over and over again. Barack Obama did. “We” is a great indication the president is more than willing to once again absolve himself of responsibility, should this transparent effort to literally re-write history fail to gain the support of the American public.

...

Yet the true measure of this president comes down to one immutable reality. Faced with a choice of admitting he lied and apologizing to the public, or doubling down on thoroughly documented lie, he chose to double down. There’s only one reason he would do that: because he thinks he can get away with it. If he’s right, this nation truly has been “fundamentally transformed.”

I now put Barry in the same category as Richard Milhouse Nixon - every time he opens his damned mouth a lie comes out. Oh, wait a minute, that was Bill Clinton…So, Okay, Barry and Bill - the 20th and the 21st centuries biggest liars.

The people managing/ assigning no bid contracts for the exchange web
sites will be administering your health care. If that doesn't scare the shit out of you, what will?

The woman can't choose a contractor to build a frigging website that works. Do you want Sebilius in charge of 15% of the US economy? Do you want here making YOUR health care decisions for you?
Wrong. The government is not administering healthcare. Insurance companies will be continuing to do that just as they have in the past.
Oh Geeeses! A 2500 page bill and 30,000 pages of regulations telling us all how obunglecare is supposed to work and the government is not administering health care? Are you brain dead? There is no other explanation.

Now that's the thing that keeps me up at night. The FACT that the government is taking our healthcare from us and will be "administering" it as THEY see fit. My God - what a socialist nightmare. Next things you know they will "mandate" our use of the word "Comrade"…...

Well, if nothing else, it proves that democrats have no class. They refuse to hold members of their own party to the same impossible standards that they hold republicans, In other words - there isn't a democrat alive who isn't a hypocrite.

When I was in the business (Health, not P&C) years ago, very few Individual Health Insurance Plans covered Well Baby pregnancy and maternity.

You could buy it as an add-on to your Individual Policy with a 10 Month waiting period, but we kinda had an idea what you were going to be doing as soon as you got home. So the maternity coverage was about what it would cost if you simply paid for the delivery yourself.

Which, in those days wasn't all that bad. There were several Hospitals around here that would allow you to pre-pay into a Plan that covered your Well Baby delivery. Really wasn't all that expensive.

Of course, if there were complications with the pregnancy, those were covered under your Individual Health Insurance Plan.

Being pregnant isn't a disease, complications of pregnancy are covered, normal, healthy pregnancies were not.

So why would a woman who is 50 years old buy an Individual Health Insurance Plan and pay the extra premium to cover Well Baby pregnancy?

She wouldn't unless she was stupid beyond belief. So very few.... VERY FEW Individual Health Insurance Plans have Well Baby maternity in them. Very few.

And that is enough for dimocrap scum to call them 'sub-standard'. They might have 'first-dollar' coverage in them with no maximum benefit and pay actual charges at ANY Hospital (some Hospitals are more expensive than others.... By a LOT) but because they don't cover maternity, dimocrap scum call them 'sub-standard'.

Not because they're actually sub-standard, but because dimocraps are lying scumbags and most dimocrap sycophants in here just quote their masters with no knowledge whatsoever of what they speak.

Which makes them scumbags too, AFAIC
