Easy, show me the statute where NARA has the authority to determine under penalty of law that any former President must comply to NARA's demands...I'll wait.

The NARA operates (in terms of the PRA of 1978) in the realm of civil law and not criminal law.

If they suspect that criminal activity has occured, forward it to the FBI and DOJ. It's up to the FBI and DOJ to then make an evaluation under criminal law.

So in this case the NARA was trying to get the return of Presidential Records for over a year. FPOTUS sent them 15 boxes in the spring of 2022. When the NARA was cataloging the items they found classified documents, then contacted the FBI for assistance and evaluation.

Can the judge postpone or dismiss the indictment charges to be sure that the electorate can vote for their preferred president?
