Is Trump announcing the launch of a third party tomorrow? The Patriot Party?

Indubitably.

The GOP is in BIG trouble no matter what.

They have paths forward, but they're pretty awful for our nation.

They could follow Lou Dobbs' demands that Trump should be able to shut down any media outlet that he determines is spreading misinformation.

They could back fraudulent electors or invalidate elections if democrats win.

They could continue to strip people of federal rights so they can turn those rights into crimes.

They could continue to put people into leadership positions based on their fealty to Trump personally rather than experience or competence. If you thought Ben Carson as the HUD secretary was inexplicable, you'll see buckets of the same if he's elected in 2024.

Leaning into authoritarianism is a viable long term strategy for Republicans.

Well….his candidates did tend to underwhelm…
Not really, his candidates didn't all win but they certainly didn't all lose. It was really a split decision. Also, remember, we got rid of O'Rourke and Abrams......again. The GOP is now enjoying more popularity among so-called minorities.

An ad hominem...how mature.
Thank Obama for the ACA allowing the MNCs to take over Health Care and drive prices up.
Once again, your propagandists have been keeping you ignorant.

Health care costs have been rising for DECADES.

Meanwhile, the GOP has done NOTHING about it.

So it is just a matter of time before we have UHC. Because you rubes have not realized you have been massively hoaxed by the GOP and Trump. The GOP sold us down the river to UHC a long, long time ago.

Long before Trump. Trump just jumped on the "repeal and replace" hoax bandwagon. As a professional huckster, he knows a great con when he sees one.

Name some MAGA legislation that restricts your rights.
The only party that restricts rights is the D Party.

The GOP effed up, and they want to blame Trump.

He was active in tough states - they didn't need him in places where they had wide margins - and now they're retrofitting their failure to point the finger at him.

He no likey, and WILL take his red ball & go home.

Just not yet.

You remind me of Trump. Nobody ever heard of something before Trump did.

"Nobody knew health care was so complicated!"

'Nobody knew this, nobody knew that'. Trump's way of bullshitting the rubes because he himself doesn't know anything. The guy is lucky if he has enough brains to come in out of the rain.

Are you a moron?
Did you read my post?
Reagan and GW Bush (who you love) passed legislation that resulted in millions of US citizens losing their jobs.
But you hate Trump for bulling companies into hiring US citizens.
It's obvious you have some severe mental issues.

Most polls I saw had economic issues first, but abortion came in in the top 3. I think the GOP greatly underestimated people’s anger over Dobbs.

And they expect us to trust them that they won't strip gays of the right to marry, or women the right to contraception, or won't criminalize homosexuality.

We know they can....because they have. With Thomas coming out and declaring that all the rulings that established these rights should now be reevaluated. The conservative supreme court is poised for a *massive* roll backs of rights and personal liberties in favor of the power of the State.

Stripping people of their rights and turning those rights into crimes is *absolutely* the GOP agenda.

Worse, they're openly supporting a snitch state where bounties are offered to encourage people to turn in their friends and family, their teachers and co-workers.

The conservative vision for the future is quite awful.

SCOTUS on RvW+ poor GOP messaging on the economy = Red Trickle

Would it surprise anyone if he did? Given the level of corruption within the duopoly would this set-up perfectly for fence-sitting independents and the like?
America is in great need of a 3rd party.

Vast numbers of Independents and fence-sitters would love to see an alternative to the existing two-party drollery.

Trouble is, Rump would be at the head of it.

That's a non-starter, beyond his own base.

A base of 100,000,000...how sad :laughing0301:
