To explain, I think the old testament of the bible is all made up Jewish myths, and it is not a message from God.
I do favour the teachings of Jesus as they are of a high moral tone. But I doubt the story of his miracles and his resurrection.

It's going to be tough to define a "murderous cult" based on this without a significant moving of goal posts and revising of definitions.
